Squad player at best, he isn't starter quality even though he had plenty of great games for us no doubt about that. Our fans usually try to find a victim for every defeat or result that doesn't go our way. Cahill is the target this season, just like Ivanovi? was for the last one. I agree that he hasn't been very good and that he made major mistakes but he is not as bad as people suggest.

I even read on some random link that some of our fans felt he was our worst defender ever haha, those weren't around for a long time it seem's.

Tbf I wouldn't expect someone whose hero is Micky Droy to be able to appreciate centre backs like John Stones.

The only reason I know him is he used to manage a semi pro team from norbiton who I think now share their ground with Wimbledon, my mates dad pointed him out cause he knew I was Chelsea, said he helped us get relegated promoted and relegated, based on that the name surely has to be a troll unless he was a cult hero in the 70 and 80's that I'm unaware of?

Micky Droy is a CFC legend, always loved the bloke for punching a Bristol Rovers player in the face at their ground sometime in the 70s, straight red

One name on that list i cannot agree with and that is Lovren. Lovren has been shocking for Liverpool ever since he signed for them. At least Cahill can say he has been consistently good with us at times.

Bailly and Smalling are very debatable too. Bailly has just joined United and after a couple of good games, he has been pretty terrible for United. He has definitely been at fault for a few of the goals they have conceded of late. I don't believe Smalling has improved as much as some have been saying either. He is up there with Ryan Shawcross with the amount of shirt pulling he does. With the new rules this season, it will be interesting to see if he get's away with it as much.

Lack of center-backs or not at this given time I'd take anyone over Cahill he has always been in question a nothing special type of player a 34/35 year old John Terry is still significantly better than him so we've loaned out Andreas Christensen for two years he has one year left but you all know damn well that he is a player that deserves to play over Cahill It's kind of annoying to think how many loans we have

Both valid options I'd gladly give a shot over him we're probably only keeping Cahill due to being forced to play British players that aren't good enough I mean how can you even excuse some of the absolute cock-ups he did today it's embarrassing from midfield to attack we're fine but this centre-back issue has came back to bite us in the ass royally and we will absolutely have to likely spend in January because of it.

I'm aware ALL players make mistakes but this has been a recurring thing we will likely miss out on top 4 with him at the back, rant over.

Has to go at the end of the season along with Ivanovic.
