May 26, 201511 yr Great read! Thanks for posting. That Lampard bit speaks a lot about his humility. Lucky Eden's married and has a good sensible head on him. If the club continues to do well and lift major trophies, and he's enjoying his football, I don't see why he won't stay for a lot longer than most people think.
June 1, 201511 yr i still think that pass to schurle against city was his best play of the year , that goal against maribor was pretty tight tho
June 2, 201511 yr Got to see him up close in Sydney last night and I'll just say I'm jealous of you folk that get to watch him every week in London. What an incredible player
June 4, 201511 yr Hazard will be captain for Belgium against France on sunday. I'm looking forward to that game :)
June 8, 201511 yr Chelsea’s Eden Hazard is now more valuable than Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo http://www.football-observatory.com/IMG/pdf/wp115_eng.pdf Edited June 8, 201511 yr by coco
June 8, 201511 yr Well that's horsesh*t. The most valuable player in the world based on transfer fee isn't even on that list lol.
June 12, 201511 yr Chelsea’s Eden Hazard is now more valuable than Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo Capre.JPG http://www.football-observatory.com/IMG/pdf/wp115_eng.pdf How is Neymar behind Hazard. Strange.
June 13, 201511 yr Ronaldo and neymar contract ends two years earlier that's probably why Eden is in front of them...I still don't get sterling being there tho
July 29, 201510 yr That goal last night was ridiculously sexy. Totally worth staying up half the night for.
July 29, 201510 yr i would love for him to get 30 goals next season similar to what ronaldo did at utd. he has the ability, he just needs to shoot more, more, more!
July 29, 201510 yr He is not the finisher Ronaldo was/is yet though. Getting there maybe but if he got close to 20 league goals this season i'd be thrilled.
July 29, 201510 yr He'd be on 25 league goals a season if he wasn't selfish, it's admirable and helps the team out a great deal, but it means no one will ever compare him to the greats if he continues to be unselfish because fans only ever look at statistics to compare. Go back to West Ham away where he had put us 1-0 up, he was one on one during the very late stages about 5 yards out and only needed to roll the ball in but decided to pass it to Willian, it shows he puts the team above his own records but that may hinder him progressing to be one of the true greats

Zidane is one of the greatest players to ever play the game and his goals and assists weren't exactly massive. I do think Hazard is capable of getting to 30 goals a season on a regular basis though, he has everything in his game to get that amount of goals.
July 29, 201510 yr You're right Scott Harris but in Zidane's time there weren't two players who were scoring 50 league goals a season year in year out, to be one of the best that's what you get compared to nowdays

I doubt we will be seeing a player score the amount of goals they score for some time, especially a player that is playing in the Premier League.
July 29, 201510 yr Sometimes i have to pinch myself that he actually plays for my football club. I generally don't think i will see a more talented player play for Chelsea more than him thats how highly i rate him.

Even now Ronaldo takes roughly 3 times as many shots as him during a season. With a conversion rate that's not too far away from his as well. I think it would be great if we had more possession as a team. Hazard lacks a bit without the ball (in an attacking sense) compared to the likes of Ronaldo and Neymar but is comfortably better with it.
