He’d go with my complete blessing. He has won everything he can here, there is a spot for him to play for the club he’s always wanted too and he’s never kicked up a fuss. Great player, great guy and I hope, should the inevitable happens, that he wins the CL... of course depends if we’re in it or not, if we are then I wish him no luck at all!

If he's going we lose the best player in the league, we can't think buying a couple of unproven youngsters will be sufficient as replacements.

Pep built his City team around two young wingers and within two years won the league. I'd much rather us sign young talent and watch them grow into the system.

Would get rid of Willian though & let RLC cover on the wings if needed. 4 wingers is overkill & Willian can be disruptive.

We are still half a year before he enters the last year of his contract and he has already started this. Heck, he started flirting with Madrid during the World Cup and has not stopped since. Disrespectful is what that is.

He owes us nothing, he's honoured his contract and has been honest about his intentions. I'd rather he spoke his mind than secretly hand in a transfer request and go AWOL from training like the giraffe-snake while pretending that he's loyal to the club. We've gotten amazing mileage out of Eden, and he's the only player from our current generation i'll ever look back on with the same fondness as the likes of Cech, Lamps, Terry and Drogba. 

Footballers leave, the world goes on, feels like you actively dislike him for wanting to move away from Chelsea, but realistically we aren't the powerhouse we were domestically and in Europe, and I personally couldn't blame hazard for seeking a move to his favourite boyhood club who have a lot more CL pedigree than us. He's won everything here and if he leaves then it'll only be on good terms in the eyes of any rational fans

I would definitely look at Lozano or my favourite Federico Chiesa of Fiorentina would be a monster for us, direct, pacy an eye for goal and surprisingly strong. Along with CHO and Pulisic we would have three of best young talents in the world.

I like the look of Lozano and Leon Bailey too. Can't say i've seen much of Chiesa but i'm sure if he's decent Sarri would be interested with the Italian link.

End of an era. We’re very lucky to have him for so many years, all the best Hazard.

I think he’s going to hate it at Madrid though, he hasn’t got the right mindset for it. I’d prefer him to go somewhere like PSG or Juventus where he’ll be more appreciated.

Can anyone blame him? Face facts, we are a fading force and he's said for years how Real Madrid are his dream club. We did well to keep him for one more season after he said he wanted to leave last summer.

unlike Courtois, he's been honest too. Saying he'd love to go to Real but if he ends up signing deal at chelsea, he'd be very happy with that too. Ball was always in Madrid's court then and they'd be nuts not to move for a quality player like this with just a year left on his contract.

lets just make the most of his last three months sat the club and hope he gets to leave with one more trophy. We'll move on. Club will be under pressure to find top signings in the summer to rebuild.

Love the guy to bits like all Chelsea fans. What i don't like is all the uncertainty, there's obviously a big offer on the table from us and real f**kin madrid and I'm sure he and his advisers are trying to cream all they can out of any deal . No body outside of the inner sanctum knows wtf is going on, but it really pisses me off with the total lack of clarity. Our own press love to dig up anything they can which is anti Chelsea, wether it be a player ,manager our owner or our fans so we have to adopt a thick skinned attitude.This is another example, so we just ignore it as usual, but i'm fed up to the back teeth of all this sh*t. Sign a new deal or good bye.

Damn right! This is what I am saying all along! Either move already or cut the drama and focus on Chelsea. 

If Hazard goes to Real, I'd love a swap of Hazard for Vinicius Jr however unrealistic that is.

Just reading Matt Law in the Tele essentially saying he's on his way. In the summer this was the disaster I most feared. But if true, I'm not overly worried. 

It's a chance to move from having one great individual to build a more solid squad, starting in defence and midfield. A squad with character who work hard, move off the ball and demonstrate resilience. It's also a chance to keep Callum.

That said, if he is leaving we need a head of recruitment and a proper director of football to make sure the money is spent wisely. Arsenal just fired one of the best going round...
