The pass he made for Willian's goal at Everton is what he's all about. I don't think anyone would have made that pass. It looks so simple but needs great vision and mind set. I hope he stays next season.

Need to find a way to play him more.

He's far too good to sit out so many games and coming off the bench, good thing is we will have more games next season so I hope that's enough to keep him.

He's a top artist with the ball at his feet, just makes it look so nonchalant, and ridiculously easy, check that assist for Matic' goal sublime...

Can Cesc be Chelsea's Pirlo ? 

IF only he had athleticism.

I really hope Conte can convince him to stay playing this role because he is the ultimate squad player. What might spin it in our favour is we are his best shot at a CL medal before he retires (the clubs hes linked with haven't got a cat in hells chance in the next few years).

Imho Pirlo wasn't any better than Cesc, Cescs pedigree is pretty untouchable tbh..

Not sure tbh, I haven't seen Cesc score some of the goals Pirlo used to - still a class act though.

 

If he doesn't push to leave, we simply have to keep him. He can do things no one else in the league can do, let alone our team.

 

He'd get plenty of game time with a heavier fixture list. Please keep the Fab.

With all the fixtures we'll have next season, Cesc staying is a MUST.

With European football again next season there's plenty more game time and I think Conte values what he can contribute. He's proven he can play in the 3-4-3 after initially being marginalised 

Has he ever actually commented on the playing time he gets? For all we know this could be something to keep him playing longer, a plan to limit his game time to extend his career and usefulness.

He's insane.

So happy i've been able to see him play for us. Probably the best midfield passer i've seen since maybe Xavi.

Needs to be kept over the summer as well. Gives us something no one else in our squad could. I don't think we'd win the league this year without him.

What a player! One of the best ever midfielders in PL history. Love watching him play.

Not sure I 100% agree, however I was thinking more in terms of how long he can go on for ?  Cesc now 30.. .Pirlo played on at the top level what 35/36 ?....

No it's our song for him. Though  I think we might have lifted it from another team about another player. Apart from the "he could have signed for Arsenal but he said no f**k that" obviously. I have heard arsenal fans sing it to Cech which sort of makes sense given he does actually wear a hat. But they stole it from us.
