July 21, 201411 yr As much as I'd love to see drogba in a chelsea shirt again that ending in munich was just perfect and although nothing he does can ever take that away it still doesn't feel right him coming back. Let's see
July 21, 201411 yr It's nothing but a silly season. Drogba is not interested anymore and why should he stain his Hollywood ending?
July 21, 201411 yr If he comes back, how would that in any way change the fact that he played a big part in winning the Champions League for Chelsea? If Scholes could come out of retirement and help United to another league title, I'm sure Drogba is capable of providing something as well.
July 21, 201411 yr It's nothing but a silly season. Drogba is not interested anymore and why should he stain his Hollywood ending? I guess the big man told you that himself?
July 21, 201411 yr I suppose if we were planning an early CL exit to focus on our league campaign. Hmm? Torres's record in Europe is very good. Anyway back to the point. I really want Drogba back as a coach. His presence and his knowledge will do wonders for Costa and Lukaku. Costa will learn a lot by him!
July 21, 201411 yr It's nothing but a silly season. Drogba is not interested anymore and why should he stain his Hollywood ending? That's not true. It isn't just some random rumour that has popped up on some sh*t twitter page this is being reported by bbc and sky sources. Normally sky won't report anything unless they have quite a bit to go on. This is happening I think and it will surely spell the end of lukaku or torres time at the bridge
July 21, 201411 yr Blue, Whatever you believe, that's fine with me. I would rather wait & see. Meanwhile, I doubt it will happen. Drogba may be willing to come to learn about coaching & I may see that. As a player he is not needed. Costa, Lukaku, Torres should be good enough for now.
July 21, 201411 yr 1-0 down at Burnley 15 mins to go, Jose throws on Drogba and Lukaku with Costa - who would bet against us winning ?
July 21, 201411 yr If Jose can move Torres out of the picture, then bring Drogba in. Drogba can help Costa & Lukaku a lot.
July 22, 201411 yr Hmm? Torres's record in Europe is very good. Anyway back to the point. I really want Drogba back as a coach. His presence and his knowledge will do wonders for Costa and Lukaku. Costa will learn a lot by him! Well he's won some very important corners, i'll give him that much.
July 22, 201411 yr 1-0 down at Burnley 15 mins to go, Jose throws on Drogba and Lukaku with Costa - who would bet against us winning ? We leave open too many gaps, get hit on the break and lose another goal.
July 22, 201411 yr Daily Star - Manchester City are planning an audacious bid to sign Didier Drogba, scuppering Chelsea’s chances of taking him back to Stamford Bridge. Doubtful IMO but then again City do do things just to wind up the opposition although previously that has all been aimed at Man Utd.
July 22, 201411 yr Well he's won some very important corners, i'll give him that much. He's one of the best corner and goal kick winners in world football. Only Peter Odemwinge and Antonio Valencia are better.
July 22, 201411 yr Drogba to City rumours? Can't see it happening. If he's got to choose between us or City it's not even a contest... Even if we aren't interested I still don't see him going there because they're already overstocked on forwards with Aguero, Negredo, Dzeko and Jovetic. Who's he going to get game time in front of out of that lot? I give this made up rumour 4/10, must try harder,

July 22, 201411 yr I think Drogba would pick us over them. His family never left Cobham even though he went to play in China and then Turkey. Although Manchester is a lot closer than those im still pretty sure he will want to come home.
July 22, 201411 yr Drogba wouled never pick City over us, he loves Chelsea. Also, his extremely generous charity work shows that he's not obsessed with money, so salaries shouldn't play any part.
July 22, 201411 yr Drogba wouled never pick City over us, he loves Chelsea. Also, his extremely generous charity work shows that he's not obsessed with money, so salaries shouldn't play any part. That generosity needs to be fed with money though.
July 22, 201411 yr As much as I love Drogba, his days playing top flight football are finished. He should come as a coach and a coach only. Wouldn't bother me if he went anywhere else either.
July 22, 201411 yr How do you know his days playing top flight football are finished? Ryan Giggs played into his 40's. If Jose thought his top flight football days are over then we wouldnt be trying to sign him. Jose knows a hell of a lot more about our players and the players we are looking to sign that we could ever know. In Jose we trust!
