Well i wouldn't be surprised if Gerrard got knighted. Gerrard's already an MBE and there are so many English players that have achieved more in their careers. It's all a popularity contest these days. When you see someone like James Corden getting an OBE you know that these people ain't getting it for what they have achieved in their careers.

Said this before but honestly, every time I watch him play I feel happier and happier about the £28m we fleeced Everton for. Good finisher but is overall link-up play is so poor.

Liverpool v Tottenham should be a cracker. On the evidence of this weekend I would fancy Spurs to do something at Anfield.

Really like the look of kane, pity he will always play for a rival, but good for England.

I think bamford has enough in his game to make the same sort of impact for us, but I can't see us giving him a go. Even if he does well at prem side next season, I can't see him getting a shot.

I think it's far from over yet. They'll have Tourre back next weekend and if Bony proves an upgrade on Jovetic and Dzeko, I'm sure they'll keep in mathematical distance right to the end.
