I really hope he gets serious gametime at Palace.

He'll have Gayle and Chamakh out of the team by christmas

With Cabaye Bolasie and Zaha in the team he should get some chances to score.

Good move if it happens probably one of the few Premier League sides without a competent striker already and so should get decent playing time.

No word on the new contract though.

Good move choice for all involved. Hoping he signs a new contract though, don't want to lose him as he looks pretty talented. I have a funny feeling that Palace could do very well in the upcoming season, maybe even top 10....

Great to see him getting premiership experience, and we'll all be able to keep an eye on him.

I guess Palace won't be signing Remy then. A good move for Bamford, palace has a pretty good team with recent signings.

In fairness this is a different level to the championship, with much more pressure and expectation.

Why would you be surprised? He scores wherever he scores wherever he goes

Good move for him. You only have to look at the step up from championship to the Prem is huge, judging by the amount of teams that go straight back down. If he can get a decent amount of games and get a good goal to game ratio it will be a good year in his football education.

This season will be huge for Bamford. If he is to make it here, this will be the season that he will need to make the biggest impact. If he fails to score goals at Palace i can't see him ever making it as a Chelsea footballer.

 

This is the perfect move for him in my opinion, now we just need to see what he is capable of.

Hopefully he can make it, he's not been a flash in the pan so far as he's gradually worked his way up tables. I hope he can cut it at Palace as I think he's seriously talented. Even if he does score and has a great season it doesn't prove anything as Lukaku proved two premiership stints wasn't enough to impress with him. Personally I think we made the right choice on Lukaku.

Lukaku was a failure off the pitch. I think sulking his way into Jose's office and saying he wanted to start or be sold is what did him in. Bamford seems to realize he has to earn it and doesnt expect to be first choice
