I think this formation is starting to suit Pedro a lot more

Looks like I was right about Pedro. 

as I have always said he offers us that extra goal threat with his movement and runs in behind, and his flick to Kante was sublime!

Great run from Pedro to score that goal, I don't think someone like Willian would do that, just not his style. Pedro is the only midfielder in the team that constantly making runs behind defence, when it didn't come off he looked rather incompetent, but he has that ability to run/score. He was one that looked on his way out, until Conte made him useful again.

Good movement, anticipation and a nicely placed goal to set the tone for our win. 

I still do not like Pedro's first touch but he does have a more predatory instinct to shoot for goal compared to Willian.

I dont rate Pedro that much but to be fair his movement off the ball and his finishing are very good.

Him form has certainly picked up in the last few games. He was very good against Man Ure.

I actually thought he was very poor, but he scored a good goal and got an assist. Every other time he got the ball, he wasted it, as far as I could see.

 

Seldom have I seen a player who shows so little composure in possession.

 

Still, hopefully there is better to come and hopefully his confidence is high after Sunday.

 

There's no getting round it, so far he has been largely woeful for Chelsea.

Funny thing is the same could be said about Costa, the second he runs at a defender the outcome is decided a few touches before. He will nearly always lose the ball. Also likes to cut back on his right foot too much.

I think Chelsea lack attacking players with that extra quality like Ozil, KDB, Silva, Coutinho etc. Chelsea have Hazard but that's about it.

The lads been getting a lot of (in my opinion unfair) stick on the forum lately.

Funny how differently people can interpret performances and contributions. 

I'd love to see Griezman in place of Pedro. But we're stuck with him right now. 

Personally I feel his benefits are massively outweighed by his negatives. I hope he proves me wrong but his best known memory for us in a decades time will probably be the goal against united. 

He's starting to find more and more connection with Hazard and Costa. 

Two assists and goal today. Brilliant performance by him, the speed of this trio allows us so much in our attack.

Back to his very, very best. Absolutely unbelievable today. Him, Hazard and Costa makes a formidable trio.

I flagged up his performances before the game and I'm going to smugly flag up his performance afterwards too.

He's sh*t, no composure, just runs around a lot, literally a white Ramires

2 goals and 5 assists so far this season. Only De Bruyne has more assists. 

Fantastic player as I have always said, that front 3 of Hazard, Pedro and Costa look so so good!

He was class today, his movement is fantastic and his workrate wss phenomenal. I see again people overlooking aspects such as workrate on here.

That backheel to Hazard when he was cornered by two Everton players was all class, with the resultant goal being the most sumptuous of the lot. Also good anticipation to get on the end of the rebound for the fifth. 

In most other games, I'd give Pedro MOTM but Hazard was simply superlative. 

I have to say he made me look a real mug today, I love it. Never too proud to admit when I get it wrong. 

I think what we saw yesterday is how well Pedro plays when we play with pace and directness, he simply isnt suited to a slow tempo passing style of game and it does him no favours. Yesterday whenever he was involved we were going at Everton and he was outstanding, and he gives us the threat in the box from midfield we havent had since Lampard.

Yeah I agree, for Barcelona he was at his best under Martino in 2013-14, when the team was considerably more direct than under Pep, Tito or even Luis Enrique. That Barcelona team was less effective than Pep's, but Pedro netted 15 league goals.
