October 28, 201510 yr Don't want to see Zouma at Rb. Much rather have him at Cb. His passing and ball control isn't the best and if Liverpool play a high tempo pressing game Zouma and Cahill may find it difficult to get the ball up the field. Remy should hopefully be able to exploit the space behind their defence.
October 28, 201510 yr Given our form and luck I expect very little from this. We can expect choruses of "sacked in the morning " from the dippers. A Coutinho screamer from 25 yards just to remind us that none of our players can shoot from more than 3 feet. And possibly some bizarre catastrophe like a Hazard own goal or a career ending injury to JT Edited October 28, 201510 yr by carrickblue

October 28, 201510 yr that's one high res gif anyway considering our sh*tty form and sh*tty luck right now, i'm positive that we're going to smash them
October 28, 201510 yr If Jose fell into a barrel of t*ts at the moment, he'd come out sucking his thumb. He can't catch a break lately, but strangely I think a spell in the stands for Him might actually work in our favour, (although keep a close eye on Stamford the Lion, if he starts hand signalling Faria, we'll know) It's hard to see us getting a win due to confidence issues, but I'm hoping it'll be like the Arsenal game, and we pull it our of the bag. If we lose on Saturday I think our best ever Manager will be gone, and I would love to him stay and turn this around. As for those of you worrying about the taunts of Liverpool fans, remember this, they may think getting our Manager sacked is payback for the Stevie G's slip, but what they fail to understand is that we have a long and ignoble history of sacking popular managers, and we're used to it. Whereas the closest they ever came to winning the premier league was 2014, they had practically bedecked the trophy with red and white ribbons, and we spoiled the media led parade. They can never take that away from us. Edited October 28, 201510 yr by SHELLY
October 28, 201510 yr I think it's evident for all to see that the team is a much better prospect without Fabregas and Ivanovic in it. Kennedy looked wonderful last night, and Traore made a good impression if a little rough around the edges. It was good to see something different. That being said, for all the chances and good football, the ball still isn't going into the back of the net. We've tightened up defensively in recent games so I'm going to revise my prediction for a 0-0 game, seeing as Klopp loves to draw at the moment.
October 28, 201510 yr I'd like to see this starting line: Begovic Azpi Zouma Cahill Baba Mikel Loftus-Cheek Ramires Willian Traore Remy
October 28, 201510 yr I'd have Terry over Cahill. Wasn't impressed with Ramires at all. He just can't pass the ball, so many moves break down because of his passing ability. I'd probably start hazard as well, he did ok yesterday, better than recent weeks anyway. But bring Traore on later if it's not going well (when it's not going well).
October 28, 201510 yr i hope Liverpool wins today because if Klopp loses then its a game of PRESSURE vs PRESSURE. hope some understand. (._.) Edited October 28, 201510 yr by Nevamind
October 28, 201510 yr Playing players out of their usual position is never a good idea, remember Essien at RB in Moscow 08, and CR8 skinning him for the header for their goal. Zouma is not built for the RB role, anyone can see that. And if Ivanovic is injured and Dave preferred/needed at LB, the next genuine RB in our squad is Aina. A rough square peg he may be, but he fits a square hole. And with Zouma next to him at CB they will offer a good combination of speed and strength out on our troublesome right side of defence. Remy comes on at Stoke, I heard people say, "he looked ok but nothing special", still got his goal though didn't he, sign of a good striker, plays crap but can't help but scores goals. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to work out our main problem is the midfield, I thought we have looked better with Mikel back at the rear, and Willian has looked by far our most dangerous and creative player at present, still not perfect, but certainly our best so far. As we all know, the midfield is the main isssue, it looked better without Fabregas last night, but I would like to see Traore, Kenedy and RLC injected into the midfield, now we have a more settled backline with Ivanovic and Matic out of the way, we can afford to try these three youngsters out properly. If we go out and murder the dippers with this team I will be elated. ---------------Begovic Aina----Zouma----Terry----Dave ------------RLC----Mikel ----------------Willian --Traore--------------------Kenedy -----------------Remy Bench: Cahill, Hazard, Fabregas, Matic, Oscar, Falcao

October 28, 201510 yr This match will be our turning point. Liverpool are weak, if we beat a mid table team like liverpool it will boost confidence and that will be it. i saw a better performance in the last game that lacked real confidence. The time has come for the change in performance now.

The time has come for the change in performance now. If we do manage to beat Liverpool, even by 1 goal, we will go above them in the table. Wouldn't that be sweet?
October 28, 201510 yr It's hard to see how we can get anything from this, unless Liverpool are as inept as Arsenal were. We're averaging about 2 goals a game against, so even if we score first, you wouldn't bet against us losing. And we still look like we don't know how to create many chances. I hate Liverpool so much, I really hope we can turn up for once.
October 28, 201510 yr Liverpool have won 1 and drew 9 of their last 10 games, I can't see why your so pessimistic.

October 28, 201510 yr I expect the same team as last Saturday, back to the basic game plan and tactics. Somehow we need to add some width on the pitch from the fullbacks, either Azpi back to his RB position or Baba/Kennedy on the left. We are going backyards when the opposition pack their defence around the box, it's been like that for the the vast majority of this year. I dare say if Zouma is playing right back, Klopp could risk playing a winger at left back, because there would be no threat from the right wing. Oscar for Ramires? Oscar got work rate too, and better abilities with the ball. A draw would be a decent result, but won't disapprove any doubt. I feel liverpool is really for the taking, Jose just need to find the right balance between defence and attack.
October 28, 201510 yr Yeah based on that this has 0-0 written all over it. Andy Carroll just got his first goal of the season against us, I wouldn't be that surprised if Klopp got his first win against us too with the way our luck has been going so far.
October 29, 201510 yr WTF? Who is this splishsplosh with these totally unacceptable views?!!! That said, I was only thinking, with CFC clearly not going to win the league this season, who do I "want" to win it. No-one obviously but it will be one of City, Arsenal or (and less likely Utd). I guess on that basis I will have to root for City but it all gets very depressing if you think too much about it. Anyone but City just so I dont have to read endlessly about KDB winning them a title on here for an entire summerI think we'll blow Liverpool out of the water Edited October 29, 201510 yr by TheChelseaBlues
October 29, 201510 yr I think if Jose continues to more or less run the same 11 players into the ground, brings back Ivan and Ces, we will struggle ...
