March 17, 201610 yr embarrasing to be honest. We have a habit of doing this now and it's getting more and more frustrating. I think we have to start asking why this keeps happening, someone has to take the blame, we can't keep making the same mistakes over and over again. Roman has been here for over a decade now, why is he allowing so many bad decisions to happen like this ?

March 18, 201610 yr Im sure Bamford would have appreciated being given the 3rd/4th striker spot instead of pato. Or Abraham. In some situations I get that it is hard to give youth a shot, but in this instance it seems ludicrous. We loaned a player on the basis that he might be ok, rather than trusting a young kid? It's not like we needed a number 1, just a backup to play a few minutes here and there. The perfect situation for a young kid to come in and gain experience, and yet we refused to take the opportunity presented to us.
March 18, 201610 yr It's comical on one level. But on another level it's downright worrying that we seem to be run by a bunch of clueless muppets. If I was Conte I'd think twice before committing to anything that leaves Emenalo and Roman in charge of player recruitment.
March 18, 201610 yr It's surprising he chose us instead of a mega deal in China, then completely throw the opportunity away ( allegedly) . A waste of talent, 4-5 years ago we would have paid premium to buy him, and the fans would have loved it.
March 18, 201610 yr Is this signing not an argument for Conte to be allowed to bring in his own Director of Football? Too many signings in the last five years have big question marks over their logic and surely it is the DoF's job to vet these signings?
March 18, 201610 yr he will make a scoring debut on the weekend. Which nightclub is he going to? I don't think he'll need a brothel as he's quite a good looking lad and rich from doing nothing for three months.
March 18, 201610 yr Could wear Stamford the lion suit, at least he'd be working. He's have to fight off Falcao.....
March 18, 201610 yr Could wear Stamford the lion suit, at least he'd be working.Man I would do that job for 30k pounds a week.
March 18, 201610 yr Could wear Stamford the lion suit, at least he'd be working. Ha ha ah .. Bit unfair on the real Chelsea fan who does it now !! The only thing we should be giving the lazy useless c**t is a one way ticket back. Edited March 18, 201610 yr by chelseablueboy

March 18, 201610 yr Pato and Falcao complete waste of time and money, their squad places should have been given to some of our youngsters ie Bamford etc. Hopefully the last 8 games or so some of our young strikers MAY get the chance they deserve. I cant see it happening under a new manager, next season, due to our owner wanting instant success. Although we do owe everything to a Roman. I just wish he had a little more patience.
March 18, 201610 yr Was quite eager to see him do something here tbh, shame it was absolute waste of a transfer.
March 18, 201610 yr So why is it the club are supposedly looking at ending the deal? Is he just sh*t or not putting in the effort in training or what?
March 18, 201610 yr Well some sources say we are not happy with how he is training but then who knows?
March 18, 201610 yr his transfer sums up the whole recruitment policy as a complete balls up, we don't know for sure who decides on what players to move on and move on but its a flawed strategy doubt we will see this bloke play much at all, if any
March 18, 201610 yr You absolutely have a point that it was a shot to nothing, a 'risk-free' move where if it works out well we get a player at a cut-price and if it doesn't then we only lose wages which in the grand scheme of things isn't too much. But what does that say about the club that we were doing such things? How lacking in a cohesive strategy are we that we're gambling on once great players regaining fitness and form....again!!! Sure you can occasionally swing for the fences when you've got a comfortable lead, but this wasn't that. This was a desperation move from a 'board' compounding their previous failures by wasting everyone's time. Absolutely agree.
March 18, 201610 yr Can't wait to see who our next £4M 'never gonna play for Chelsea' signing will be.
March 18, 201610 yr I think some of us should try that, a few weeks training with no game would set a few up for life with the wages!!!!
