Forgotten Players That Scored Great Goals

Featured Replies

I think Jiri Jarocik scored a really nice long range goal for us, probably his only goal for us.  Can someone find that one (unless my memory is wrong about that)?

One of my first favourite players, the man saved us in 94.

John Spencer Vienna goal:

Vinnie Jones v.s the dippers:

I've posted these before, but they are good.

Wow completely forgot about that Glen Johnson goal, what a worldie.

It and Goldbaek's are two that I always think of.  I remember tht Blackburn game being a typically gritty affair, and Glen pulled that one out in the dying minutes.  Think he got a leg cramp and Melchiot had o pull folk out of the celebration pile to help stretch Glen's leg our too.

Tiago vs United

That's the one I'd pick as well. Loved Mourinho's reaction on the touchline.

Also loved Zola's little back flick at the near post from the corner vs Norwich - sublime skill.

Mark Nicholls away to Spurs. Yes we won 6-1, yes other great players scored that day (Zola, Flo, Petrescu) and yes, whilst the first touch is perfect it probably isn't the greatest goal ever.

But that was a great team playing beautiful football and young lads like Nicholls (was a striker in his youth days but Gullit played him as an advanced midfielder) making a mark. And at the Lane no less.
