Jose Mourinho thread

it's a never ending cycle of traumatic sackings punctuated by trophies - fans of other clubs just can't imagine how tough it is to be a Chelsea fan

Lol a yo yo is a good object to compare life as a Chelsea fan...

Still pissed off,but we could be gooners, took my dog for walk about 6 this evening and a bloke down are rd whose a Gooner was sitting in front of 50 inch TV, dressed in his arse shirt, frothing at the mouth and eyes bulging as he watched sky sports news and all the Jose stuff. Well in 10 mins or so I'm taking our dog for her late night walk, I have this awful vision that our friend will be still in to front of his 50 inch TV watching the Jose stuff, but now with his trousers round his ankles!!! Question is? Do I hope he's drawn his curtains, or walk the dog the other way up our road, think I'll go another way, shame in a way our dog loves chipolates

Graham Hunter was saying that it's unlikely that Simone would leave Madrid for Chelsea in the summer as he's just signed a new deal until 2020 and is keen to stay there long term. He's on good wages as well so money won't do it.

Struggling to see anyone who will take over if Simone, Pep and Carlo are not in the frame.

hunter is a joke.

I'm not as devastated as the first time, I've found Mourinho's antics to be quite embarrassing and his decisions for the choice of players and the formation very frustrating but the man deserves his dues. A huge ego that can be overwhelming sometimes but a Chelsea champion none the less, a real winner! I thank him from my heart for some unforgettable days under his management.

I'm afraid that having an owner at this club that knows diddly-squat about football and surrounds himself with people that also know diddly-squat is my biggest concern.

There is anger and disappointment and blaming but we all know we have these emotions because we support CFC and it was here long before the current owner and will be here long after. I'm Chelsea till I die (and it will still be here after that)!

Reports coming in that Jose refused his £40m payout.

Incredible.

£40mill with the condition that he won't be working again for several years (ie gardening leave)

I can't believe people are saying I'm not supporting the club anymore, you can't have that attitude, there's a chant called Chelsea til I die, stick by those words. It's a sad day, I'm sorry for Mou, I wish him all the best in the future, I myself am on the fence about the decision, but we move on, just like we did in 07, no difference.

Well it's how a lot of us feel. I love all the supporters I've met at matches and to me they make the club. But I feel as do lots of others that it had become a joke and a corporation. A money machine for rich people and not a club for the likes of everyone on this forum. The club for me as a boy and south west Londoner was part of my identity and I truely felt a part of it. Slowly through the years this has eroded and now I think this is the final straw. I will always follow Chelsea and support them from afar but as far as being a paying supporter and travelling with them I'm done. My memories of this club are with me and my dad and best friend. All the memories are happy ones and will stay with me forever. But I'm done.

Just thinking about who is likely to tell the truth of this whole saga. Obviously Jose himself will take a particular slant so when you look at the players might we one day learn the truth of what went wrong in John Terry's autobiography?

It has been a bizarre season. José's behaviour was bizarre from the Swansea game, his reaction to officials and the media was ott. I'm sure some day this will all come out somehow.

The news was announced at 2am in Melbourne where I live so I wasn't aware of the news for quite a few hours but waking up and seeing the headline I just froze.

Well f**king done to everyone at Chelsea for getting rid of our greatest manager. I see bleak times in the future sadly!

It does feel pretty 'soulless' these days. I mean sacking a manager who won you a league and cup double a mere few months ago before Christmas is actually pretty dire. I understand why it was done and in the current climate it's the done thing but we all know what's comming....

Hire a short term Interm man who will leave in the summer and we bring in someone else who will no doubt be clearing out his office if he's not winning the league or having us winning trophies instantly... Rinse and repeat until we turn full circle again and long for a manager like Jose.

It's all a bit messed up and I for one can't blame fans for just feeling sick of it, I mean it's pretty much impossible to be outstanding season after season in the toughest league in Europe. You just can't win all the time and surely you would think after the success of years gone by and on the back of a fantastic season the manager at least deserves to finish the season then look at things? I mean it's not like an stop gap manager is going to get us European football or win us anything of note this season, just won't happen.

I don't see where we go from here, I will be astonished if it turns out any different from the last time we sacked Jose, I really will. This time I doubt Romans pockets are going to be as generous as before so I'm not filled with optimism.

Horrible day for our club.

The more I think about it the more annoyed I'm getting about that Emenalo interview, why is that parasite speaking for the club? It should have been Buck, and the way he referred to Jose as "the individual" makes me sick, show the man some f**king respect.

The mans poison, he's everything that's wrong with Chelsea just now

To me anyone who says "Chelsea cannot have a better manager than me" rather than "Chelsea has not had a better manager than me" is off his rocker and needs to be shifted out as soon as possible. Shame the decision came too late for us to make it back up to a top four place.

Wants the club to reinvest it. Jose took the high road. If thats not an indicator of how much he loves the club I dont know what is. Also more ammuniton for the fans

The timing of it is puzzling as well. Not only because its a few days after the last match but Europe is already out of sight. I suppose they want someone new for the CL but that was the one competition Jose had the team doing well in.

I personally have no problem saying hes the best we'll ever have as someone mentioned, because he IS the best manager in the world imo. So whos gonna be better?

Has it got to a stage where not finishing in the top four just once is the be all and end all?

The short sighted, lack of long term thinking still haunts the club.

Yup.

It's arrogant and astoninglsy short sighted.

We now start from square one again and in a few months we will be back there again when whoever is Interm gets told goodbye.

16 pts after 16 games is the be all end all

You've got to take the rough with the smooth.

Never will be always sunshine and rainbows but if you give a manager a four year contract you've got to give him at least half of that, especially off the back of a league and cup double winning season.

f**king, pissing, sh*tting, bollocks, f**k, arsehole, bollocks, f**k, sh*t, w**king, sh*tting, bollocks, f**king awful sh*tting, awful, lamentable f**king arsehole of a crappy decision.

What happened to long-term strategy?

We learned that failure is not an option for Roman and the board. If anyone, even Jose, has us not competing, they get sacked.

So who wants to be our next manager?

The players are spineless. I wonder if this would have happened if Drogba, Lamps and Cech were still in the dressing room. I've lost a lot of respect for pretty much every player in our starting XI other than Willian and Courtois. Get paid 200 grand a week and can't be bothered to show up. I wouldn't be upset if half of them got sold in a fortnight.
