If any Chelsea fan thinks anything other than that United are a bigger club then they've got bigger worries than apparent "digs" from Jose.

Done the same last season and the media gave both him and Pep very easy rides and allowed to bar to move to top 4 without much discussion of never really being in the title race being a failure. They done the same with Klopp who I remember when we were 8/9 games into our winning streak was acting the big bollocks about how frustrating it must be to win that many games in a row and only be a handful of points clear (of his side). They pretty much collapsed from that point actually.

That as so sweet (Klopp) but so annoying (Pep and Jose) especially when you remember that they were saying that Conte was going to be sacked in September.

Let's see if the media dare to hold them to the standards they should be held to this season after another £600m spent between them.
July 18, 20179 yr I had to laugh when I read Mourinho refused to sub Valencia so the ref sent of Valencia instead. Sums up his personality.

Wait, you're saying that the ref gave Valencia a red card because José decided not to sub him? That's indeed a fabulous error - by the ref...

He was going to be sent off, so the ref asked him to be subbed instead, since its a friendly. Jose refused. Red card issued.

Sorry I mean the ref wanted Jose to sub Valencia because it was a second booking and sending off. Refs are lenient in friendlies so allow this. Jose being Jose said it wasn't a foul so he won't sub Valencia. The ref gave Jose the option and he refused so the ref had no option but to send Valencia off.

True about Jose, but it wasn't a second yellow, it was a nasty jump through the back of someone, probably to pay him back for the tackle that took Mata out of the game, and was justifiably a straight red. Not very friendly, but Jose had the chance to avoid the red and turned it down.
July 20, 20178 yr Of Lukaku, Mourinho said: “We got a big player, a player that I can compare with what he was a few years ago, because he worked with me for a few months [at Chelsea] and his development was very good. We have a player who is now a top player. You have to prove it at the highest level, he has to do it for United, in Champions League matches, but he has amazing qualities.” Praising the player but also a slight dig challenging him. This is what makes Jose the best manager in the world. Granted Lukaku could come out firing blanks, hopefully he does, and the pressure could backfire as it apparently has with the few defenders he called out this past season.

July 25, 20178 yr https://twitter.com/BBCSport/status/889947074938142720 Is he seriously deluded? £200 million on two players but it's everyone else's fault...
