Jose Mourinho thread

It's so difficult these days to look at Jose and think I once worshiped that man.
I'll always have a special place in my heart for him but he's totally classless.

Although I pretended, he was never the same man the second time round - he lost his charm.  Even so, when he left I dreaded him going to Manure.  It means nothing now.  Funny how things change.  I really feel completely detached now.  Last year's League title helped I guess!

I feel genuinely embarrassed that i use to worship him.

We can't pretend Jose wasn't like this at Chelsea, he absolutely was.

And I knew it would be the case once he left Chelsea especially going to one our rivals, he's a winner and he wants to win so he'll do whatever it takes. He'll try to get under Conte's skin as much as he can.

I love Mourinho for what he did at Chelsea, I don't hold it against him for going to United, we sacked him, I won't hold it against him for behaving the way he is now because that's how he's always behaved, just we weren't on the receiving end of it. Luckily his best days appear to be behind him, the United project he's had has not worked, granted things do take time but how much time do United need? They've had 5 years to transition since Ferguson and they still don't look capable of winning a title despite spending half a billion since he's left.

I'm kind of glad that he's gone, I was sick of the drama, everytime our club was in the spotlight because of his comments, comments he didn't have to make but he would make them. It just got annoying and divided many of the fans, as good as a manager he was and I was gutted when we sacked him I'm so glad we aren't in that media spotlight every week.

“You must pay great attention when you speak as if you want to go to fight with me, I am ready.

“I am improving a bit my English because this is the real problem for me, otherwise we can go to fight. I’m ready to fight for me, my players, the club, with everyone, I have no problem.

Loving the last line! I wouldn’t want to mess  with Antonio to be honest.

Looks fed up and tired at times. Because inside his head his expectations are so high he gets pissed very quickly when things aren't going as he planned. He's a winner for sure, but lately more times than not, not a classy one. Facts are he has a team at Manchester United who ain't winning the title anytime soon. He'll always be the special one and without doubt in the top 5 managers to ever do it.

Smile though your heart is breaking, Jose.

They are both in collusion with each other to take the spotlight off of City for a week. Its all as scripted as Eastenders, Big brother, or Boxing!

It must be hard for both managers being so far behind the top, but especially Jose, a once great manager reduced to scrambling around for the spaces between 2 and 5 whilst having playground spats with the other managers in those spaces.

Its all a bit.. feminine for two grown men.

Sometimes I just wish Mourinho would f off of football. He'd achieved everything there is in football and helped the club achieve so much.

He should retire, it's tiring and disappointing to see him be like this for the rest of his career.

I blame Conte too for biting. Still naive on his part, especially since Mourinho thrives on stuff like this.

Is it not? Its a shame to see Conte bite, because hes by far the better manager currently and has nothing to prove.

Jose doesn't have a line that he won't cross - he really is gutter level these days. Such a bitter figure and losing any last ounce of respect CFC fans had for him by the day.

Glad we have a man who oozes class. Sure he will bite back, but he still does so with a bit of class!

Its a little sad seeing the once respectable United fans dribbling over a few comments too. This is really one of those arguments where nobody wins and often the ones that start impressing upon other that 'their side won' look the fools.

I would much rather remind he put the point across that he won the title and  had a much better season in England than any of Joses last 5, plus that the head to heads since he arrived are 3-0-1 . He has been thoroughly dominated by Conte at United.

He’ll get a bigger pay off in 8/9 months then.

Only if he wants it. The Glazers and their puppet Woodward couldn't give a damn about trophies.

As long as he stays in the top 4 and getting through CL group stages they will renew him non-stop and there really aren't many realistic alternatives left for Jose either, certainly none that would pay him what United are because whatever the media briefings from his camp are when he is looking for a new deal, the likes of PSG and Bayern wouldn't touch him with a 100ft pole.
