May 27, 20197 yr Robdog did say 'arguably', so it's an opinion, not a fact (and in the final Arsenal are our only rivals, so our biggest of the day ? ) I got your back, Rob Edited May 27, 20197 yr by Valerie

Most seem to have surrendered already I am shocked that any Chelsea fans could honestly claim they don't care about this final? It is not the Champions League but still a great chance to end the season with a trophy, and stop our London rivals reaching the Champions League next season. Terrible news if true about Kante, but the rest of the squad needs to step it up and bring their A game. The pressure is on Arsenal as they will not make the Champs League unless they win. Lets use that pressure against them!

That makes it the most important one in my book right now. Edited May 27, 20197 yr by Valerie

Europa League we only enter if we fail. I'm never going to love it. It will be great to win. But I won't be devastated if we lose.

Yes that's right, but this is a big European final, they don't come along that often so we should embrace any chance to play on the world stage go big finals..

That is true this season but generally speaking the League Cup is the least prestigious of the trophies we compete for each season. By comparison winning the Europa gets you a spot in the Champions League and the Super Cup. You don't have to love every tornament that we enter but I will never be apathetic about winning a trophy. I remember the days when all we could hope for might be the ZDS, the Makita, or the Cross Channel trophy! ?

So the Real question that I have to ask here is what is the status of N'Golo Kante? You blokes are closer to Baku than me. I am literally on the other side of the Globe for this match.
May 28, 20197 yr As per Sarri's comments in the press conference just now Kante is 50/50 to start tomorrow. His injury is not serious thankfully. Hopefully he will play some part tomorrow but at least he isn't out long term as initially feared.
May 28, 20197 yr Any time we play for a piece of silverware, I'm interested & excited. I can't imagine being a trophy snob.

May 28, 20197 yr Away from the main group when they were playing a practice match. Doesn't sound like he’s fit and if he does play he will be a massive risk.

May 29, 20197 yr Even not fully fit i'd start him, if he has to come off after 60 minutes it will have been worth it then he has all summer to recover.
May 30, 20197 yr Injury doubt going into the game, somehow lasts 90 minutes and puts in (another) quality performance. I'm not sure he's actually human but thank goodness he's ours.
June 3, 20197 yr Whenever you find yourself upset about manager news, tactics, CAS, transfer ban, Willian.... Here's N'Golo Kante to make everything right in the world. If he can't make you feel better, get a new hobby.

All the talk of money and mercenaries in the game these days, and here is Kante face timing his family showing them his medal. ? Edited June 4, 20197 yr by Blue Exile
June 8, 20197 yr Already one of my favourite Chelsea players of all time. Truly world class in every aspect. On and off the pitch. I am gutted Hazard has gone, but would have been even more gutted if it had been Kante.
