January 3, 20179 yr Think far to much is made of the captains armband to be honest with you. When you are on the pitch leaders lead, regardless if they have an armband on them or not. There was a time we had many in the team, last season we seemed to have almost none.

I see the captain as more of a representative off the field than necessarily on it.

February 1, 20179 yr Kloop even has to give Side Show Bob some love ‘Even if he was prepared it would have been difficult to save it because it was hit well and right in the corner,’ the German added. ‘Two seconds before he scored David Luiz was stood next to me talking to Conte and drinking water on the touch-line!' February 1, 20179 yr I now officially consider it, a successful return. Who all was sh*tting themselves when he was down in the first half?

February 1, 20179 yr Even if Mignolet was ready and looking at the ball, he had no chances to save that. Brilliant performance and goal, what a fantastic defender he became.
February 1, 20179 yr he's only been here 6 months and already luiz is a changed defender. conte has had a big impact on the way he plays. a lot of juve fans saying conte is turning luiz into a more refined cb, similar to what he did with bonucci. would have been interesting to see what conte could have done with luiz over a 2/3 year period. saying that, luiz is still just 29 (thought he was older) so could see him get better over the next year or two.

Terry against Liverpool's pacy attack, on a wet pitch. I think he would have struggled and they would have attempted to stretch us more with him on instead of Luiz Edited February 1, 20179 yr by Zeta
February 1, 20179 yr Luiz is playing superb and it's great watching him sweep everything up but it would be interesting to see if he was the same defender in a back four. Luiz is made for a back 3 and without him I'm not sure if it would be easier to switch to a back four.

Not really sure changed but more playing his ideal position.
