THANK f**k FOR THAT!!!!

WE'RE TOP OF THE LEAGUE, WE'RE TOP OF THE LEAGUE, WE'RE TOP OF THE LEAGUE, WE'RE TOP OF THE LEAGUE, WE'RE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!

Middlesborough have given all the top teams a tough game, taking points off a lot of them. 1 - 0 does me fine

Thank f**k that is over.  I had a feeling that today would be tough, but i didn't expect it to be that tough. It was a very nervy performance but we got the win and another clean sheet.

Hazard was my man of the match, followed by Moses. I thought these 2 were the only ones who were really on it tonight.

Get in, a very good result, make no bones about it boro are difficult at home. Luiz was outstanding, proper captain's knock that. But how the hell did Ramirez stay on the pitch, I lost count of the fouls he gave away.

Well deserved 3 points. Glad we didnt do anything stupid like "rest" our top scorer

Indeed. No need to rest anyone without CL and one less cup. Best players play.

That's a Champions performance wasn't flashy just determination grit and belief to get the three points and clean sheet i would say this is our most impressive simply because it's coming from an international break away to tough tough place and we showed our clean sheets aren't a fluke we show we are there now are ready to dig in when needed or destroy when needed great performance.

Luiz motd for me. Captains performance.

My exact opinion too. Pundits gave it to Moses who was very good once again but faded a bit second half, however Luiz was immense all match. I knew he was going to be a success signing, despite all the doubts media and fellow critics made of him. He has been sensational.

Fantastic away performance there. These are the type of wins that wins you titles; not  glamour ties against Liverpool.

A scrappy, ugly win with imperfect play from us (should have been at least 2-0) but...another potential banana-peel avoided against a side which has been very difficult to break down. Good thing they aren't that hot offensively.

Hoping for a more fluent display v Tottenham.

9 hours and 50 minutes since we last conceded a league goal.

That's ridiculous.

That was a nailbiter. Over the moon with the win. Three massive points!

Happy days, big win on a tricky afternoon. Middlebrough were very well organised defensively, could've easily been a 0-0 but we got one and kept it tight on their rare jaunts forward.

These are the wins you take for granted, but the 3 points here could be so important by the end of the season. Solid, if lacking the pace and flair of recent matches. Luiz MOTM for me, Azpi and Moses were excellent also.

Could have done with a confidence booster pre spuds and city....this was laboured

I think this win will give them just as much confidence as smashing a team would. We beat a team not playing that well at all. If you can win games playing poor, it's a good thing.

It's never easy after the international break. Another week in training together will hopefully get them back to the smooth football we seen a few weeks ago.
