Dont need 2 DM's against a team that are sitting back, surely fab taking a passenger trip wouldn't hurt us here, especially as he might wake up for a second and play a silly special pass 

Have to admit Pulis' strategy has been spot on so far. 

Should Cesc replace Matic again? It will leave us more open but he is much more likely to penetrate a parked bus.

Very sluggish first half. With our record against them, we must get 3 points notwithstanding their recent form.

The game defo needs Fabregas. No creativity at all which was my concern coming into this game if he was left out and we are struggling to break them down. Only 1 shot on target which was from a set piece. Not good enough. I think Willian will add a lot more as well.

Too many people are panicking when there's still another whole half to break the game open. We are the second half specialists as the last few weeks can attest to.

Bring on Fabregas for his precision passing and keep applying pressure on West Brom's defence. It's bound to break down eventually, but I think many rightfully anticipated that Pulis' would make life difficult for us today.

I'm confident Conte will have a plan for the second half to counter the Pullis suffocation of the game.

We don't need to change any players, just tweak our plan.

Not sure about this. We just need the pass to be quicker and more precise from midfield to attack. All our lads are hanging on the ball far too long.

A very poor first half of football. We have played right into West Brom's hands by being so slow and predictable. We almost look afraid to attempt a through ball or run at the full backs. The only one that has shown anything is Hazard but he can't do it all on his own.

Matic has been the worst for me. Jogging around, playing loose passes into our players which slows the pace of attacks down. I think we need Fabregas in there to move the ball around better.

We have a really tough opponent against us, we couldn't really think that West Brom will come to our home and play attacking football. We've to keep our passion, move the ball much faster than the first half, we got quality players for that. 

I'd take 1-0 here, we just need to press harder, push the team forward and stop West Brom the on half of the pitch.

COME ON CHELS, LET'S DO THAT!

I suppose everyone has a niche but as a manager you would think they would be football mad and want to try something in their career bar boring the f**k out of teams and wasting time, when youre known as the guy who does that...blinding

Not really, they've just had more space. The only way we're likely to get a goal here is a quick counter on a rare moment they over commit. The only way we're doing that is by allowing them to come onto us when they've the ball.

A draw today would be easy for us, Courtois could stand on the ball for 45 minutes. I don't think either team have created a real chance, and that boils down to West Brom being quite happy to take a point, and us being cautious about them getting a cheeky counter if we overload.

No point criticizing west brom, they're doing what they need to to get points, and they look the more likely to get 3 at the moment.
It's our reaction to their tactics that's the problem, far too slow, far too narrow, always cutting inside. It's up to us to adjust our game.

Conte will have to get out his magic wand and whisper in the shell-like ears of the players to try a new approach. This way isn't working. Fabregas to come on and Willian COME ON YOU BLUES !!!

Build up is far too slow, reminiscent of many games under Mourinho, where the other team would sit behind the ball and we would just pass it back and forth and never go anywhere. Need more urgency from Pedro, Moses and Hazard, to actually press the matter.

Also might be worth bringing Fabregas on.
