Forget what the pros or media say, we can decide who's been chelsea's best player this season - not that easy...I have voted already and as I love flair and skill, I have gone for hazard, but so many candidates - Kante, Luiz, azpi...anyway, the form is at the link below...get voting

I reckon Luiz will get the players player of the year.

So hard to choose. Moses has been brilliant as well! I'd have to say the regular starting 11 has been fantastic all season, apart from Costa and Matic after January.

But they played a huge part to get us where we are now. I reckon I'll vote for... Luiz or Azpilicueta. Unsung heroes.

I reckon you could make a strong case for Moses, Azpi, Luiz, Alonso, Kante and Hazard.

Moses and Alonso might not stand out individually but they are so important to the shape of the team.

Kante has been great to watch all through. He's here, he's there......

I think Cahill deserves recognition, simply as he has stepped into the Captains shoes most of the season. Some achievement in itself. Plus some very timely goals :-)  

Never in the field of Chelsea's history was so much owed by so many to so many players

Err..the title of the thread is about the vote for Player of the year being opened by the club, giving you an opportunity to click on the link and cast a vote for whoever you want...I just added why hazard got my vote

I went with Azpilicueta as I don't think he gets the recognition that he deserves, the most consistent player in the team IMO and for me he's the best defender in the league, but because he's so good consistently it flys under the radar. 

 

He's the first name on the team sheet for me.

Hazard for me. Best player in the league and currently his best goal tally for the club this season. Great season by the bloke and hope he stays come summer. 

Went with Kante, but could just as easily have gone with Eden. Both been magnificent.

Voted for Hazard.

Hazard easy choice.

It's hard to choose. 

In the first few months of the season, Costa was my player of the season, he was either scoring or setting up goals for fun. He then dipped and then it was between Hazard and Kante. Then Hazard had a little dry patch in front of goal and then it was Kante. But Hazard has been brilliant of late, it's like he has gone up another level. We seem to be getting something out of Hazard in every game in recent times. Against the big teams, Hazard has really turned up. I haven't seen a player play so well against the big teams as often as Hazard has for quite a while now.

Kante or Hazard for me, they both deserve it.

I voted for Hazard.

Several players who are the obvious candidates have for me "met expectations" this season rather than exceeded them.  I voted for Victor Moses, whose career resurgence has been surprising, most welcome and inspirational.

I voted for Pedro for this reason - he may run around like a headless chicken or may not be everyone's cup of tea, but without his contribution this year I dare say we'd be worse off.

Cant we say that about Eden? Costa? Kante? Tibo? Moses and Alonso? 

Voted for Kante all the way. He's been absolutely bloody brilliant in his first season for the club.
