Actually this went through my head a few weeks back too. I assumed maybe they would announce further friendlies before the start of the season but not really seeing much movement on that.

FORWARDS (8): Batshuayi, Boga, Kenedy, Musonda Jr, Pedro, Piazon, Rémy, Willian

Some really surprising names on there like Piazon, Omerou, remy. If matic leaves, I can see MVG being given a shot.

Biggest surprise is the exclusion of Pasalic.

 

How is Remy still an employee but Ake is the one who left? lol

Emenalo needs to sort Remy out asap

Could be Bats and Remy up front next season, never know.

We have 4 i think. Basically, it's going to be a few youth players being promoted to the first team to fill out the squad. Do we have any that are the same quality or better than Aina, Ake, Loftus-Cheek and Chalobah though ?

The head of our academy only last week said in an article that 22 was probably too late for a player to try a be a young player breaking in, he mentioned Chalobah and Bertrand in the same breath, should've taken that as a clue. 

We must be signing someone HG. Bertrand, Barkley or Ox-Chamberlain.

There's no way we can go into a european season with half if not more of our HG quota filled by untested kids.

Gutted to read this. A big, big loss. Seems like Solanke and Chalobah have just decided there's no future for them with us.

I was very impressed with him when he played last season. Hardly put a foot wrong. Didn't we win every time we played?

For a team that won 2 league titles in the last 3 years, we sure dont have ANY stability.

Well thats what happens when you treat your youth like commodities rather than look for the long term plan, but apparently anyone talking about that is not a true fan. 

Will be interesting to see how our squad shapes from here on.

With only 1 year on his deal and him wanting to leave, we won't have had much leverage to do that sort of thing probably.

We have Eduardo as 3rd GK

Piazon loaned to Fulham again, who the f**k loans out a 23 year old? Clearly he has no future, put him out of his misery, this club is bizarre at times. 

Its just to try and increase his value slightly for a sale, though at that age clearly he has more interest staying on the chelsea wages than forging a career of his own.
