September 28, 20178 yr Bayern are just gonna wait at the end of the season to hire the Hoffenheim manager
September 28, 20178 yr That has to be one of Carlo's worst spells in his managerial career, he actually made Pep Guardiola look like a great manager.

September 28, 20178 yr i guess Bayern is more trigger happy than we are. if Chelsea does that, all (media) hell would break loose 1 hour ago, Slojo said: That has to be one of Carlo's worst spells in his managerial career, he actually made Pep Guardiola look like a great manager. what makes you think that? I don't think it proves anything other than football being a complete joke when it comes to sacking managers. Ancelotti won the league title 4 months ago and if it wasn't for some dodgy decision's, he may have got to the Champions League final too. Ancelotti would likely have won another title for Bayern again this season, they are only 3 points behind with 30 games still to be played. Bayern went from getting hammered in the Champions League under Guardiola to becoming a threat to win it again under Ancelotti in just one season. He was on course to achieve just as much with Bayern as Guardiola did. As far as knee jerk reactions go, it doesn't get any worse than this. He's been sacked for losing two games, something that can and does happen to every manager in world football at some point. If you are going to get sacked for that, then you may as well not bother bringing in any manager.

Can't see Ancelotti at Liverpool, they've no style or panache and the "project" for their manager isn't the sort of thing I think he would go for at this stage of his career. I think for the Euro-elite managers Liverpool are a bit third-rate, they need managers who haven't quite achieved and who think they've got the magic touch. Could almost see Brendan back there or even FSW once again before Carlo.
September 28, 20178 yr just realised we're all stupid....the next Liverpool manager is going to be Steven Gerrard
September 28, 20178 yr Poor Carlo really does get the wrong end of the stick doesn't he? Sacked by Bayern after that loss to PSG. Has the exact same record as us in the league. 4 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss.
September 28, 20178 yr Proper embarrassing from Everton, after all the money they spent they can't beat some 10-man random team. Koeman's job must be on the line now

September 28, 20178 yr With Sagnol in temporary charge Bayern are now on their 9th manager since 2007, so Carlo's replacement will be their 10th . We're on our 12th in that time, if you count Ray Wilkins. Klopp is being mentioned as a possible replacement.
September 29, 20178 yr According to Bayern fans they have been underwhelming for a while. Its just that they are bayern so even when underwhelming they beat 90% of their imbalanced league.

(seriously asking, i don't follow bundesliga) They have been pretty poor all around his tenure. I think last season BVB dropped the ball. They should have won the league. Moreover, In europe they have looked very ordinary (only arsenal has made them look decent). The fact that even I had a 4-0 PSG win bet against a team which boasted of Lewa, Muller, Vidal, Thiago, Tolisso, Alaba should be indicative of how utterly poor they have been.
September 29, 20178 yr That has to be one of Carlo's worst spells in his managerial career, he actually made Pep Guardiola look like a great manager. That Bayern squad is finished as a unit imo. Old and not much motivation .
September 29, 20178 yr Apparently Aguero has been in a car accident. On the Dutch news they mentioned something about broken ribs but nothing was confirmed. Hope he's alright of course.

Couple that with a core of Neuer (31), Hummels (28), Boateng (29), Marinez (29), Alaba (25), Bernat (24), Kimmich (22), Alcantara, Vidal, Ribery, Robben, Muller, Lewa. I mean seriously? Old? Finished? Thats honestly got to be one of the most ridiculous statements I have ever heard mate. Dont take it personally, but sometimes people go out of their way to try and defend managers. That Bayern squad is World class. Has some brilliant talents and infact most of the players should be in their peak (Hummels, Boateng, Vidal, Lewa, Muller) or entering their peaks (Thiago, Alaba, James) as well as some of the most sought after players in the world: Tolisso, Coman.

I hope if he's at The Bridge tomorrow evening, sat in the stands, David Luiz goes over to him shakes him by the hand and gives him a big bear hug to show there is no hard feelings after past encounters. September 30, 20178 yr Not broken any ribs, but bruised them, and that was bad enough. I think your bear-hug idea would be very fitting.

Fair enough.
