How are Liverpool not ahead?! When you watch these teams, you the differences in Klopp and Jose's technical coaching abilities. United (like Chelsea when he was in charge) need individuals to win the game and link with others in the simplest ways possible.

Jose managed to make the famous Liverpool v United match boring.

Same as last year.

They offered nothing going forward

What a bore that was. Utd Mourinho just ruin football.

Out of the ex Chelsea on view:-

Salah, loads of tricks and dangerous when running at defences but has brainfade far too often and wastes a lot of good positions.

Lakaku, was he even playing. Poor service to him but ffs show for the ball sometimes instead of standing throwing your arms around like a petulant child.

Matic, a really limited player but I can see why Jose Mourinho likes him and why he is suited to a Jose team. Glad he’s no longer with us and glad Utd didn’t get someone more useful.

Mourinho, same old, same old, negative defensive football but he’ll spin it that it was a good performance away to pool and it was a point gained. He is probably right and maybe at the end of the season he will win the title by a point, but f**k him, I can’t stand his football and so glad he’s away from here. It’s just a pity and the Premiership have to suffer him.

I know Jose used to do play the same boring tactics with us but he is getting worse. He at least used to offer a counter attack, now he just shuts down and completely kills games.

Palace are a complete disaster. With that said, now watch them get their first win this year against us.

It was written in the stars...

not sure if city can keep up this quality of football, but i really think pep & city could be a tremendous partnership for the next few seasons. he will be backed to the hilt and build a squad that could well dominate.

City are the favourites now for sure, they just look unplayable and their board will just spend and spend to get them whatever they need.

Not a massive fan of Pep but do admire him and fair play to him for sticking to his beliefs and football philosophy. Could still come unstuck but they seem to have such confidence and momentum who knows? Listening to radio today commentator said it was so one sided as they went 3-0 up and they were in different league to Stoke. Then Stoke get it back to 3-2 and you think hang on, but Guadiola's City only know one way and you have to take your hat off to them. If we can't win it this season (and after today that is looking very unlikely) then I would take City over and of our rivals - especially the turgid Mourinho's Utd.

WATFORD !!!!!!!!!!

Go you beauties !!! Love to see Arsenal being defeated and Chelsea hang on to top 4 !!!!

I just realized that Watford pipped us to the 4th! Still will take that than Arsenal !

It's still a long season ahead and you never know how it'll go, but city do look very impressive.  I am quite envious of how good they are going forward and have to give credit where its due. Like you, I'd sooner see them win the league over united and definitely spurs.

City usually turn to sh*t after playing spurs so let's wait and see. Nobody's won or lost anything yet except a couple of games.
