So according to some sources, we're "closing in" on a £15m deal for Cedric from Southampton.
Thoughts?

I like him as a player, reminds a little of Azpi.

Just spent 5 minutes trying to find if Southampton actually had a player called Cedric Diggory, didn't realise who you actually meant. I'm tired.

He kept cancelo out the Portugal side for the Euros, mind you cancelo was only 22, not sure which I'd take, defensively cedric is a bit better , he is more physical although smaller, but he isn't nearly as fast or as good with the ball at feet as cancelo, tough choice, maybe go cancelo based on potential he is also a good 4 or 5 inches taller than cedric who is only about 5'7. 

Overrated and injury prone. The girls like him though, he would be very popular in the overseas markets.

Hopefully he will expelliarmus some of the fears in a lack of squad depth.

He was rubbish in the Tri-Wizard tournament.

Not sure about this, Southampton sold their other RB, they dont have anyone to replace him with

Every club will demand crazy money, because we've left it until 1 week to go and everyone knows how desperate we are. Which is why we'll probably end up paying 40m for Drinkwater.

If only the club had a thriving youth policy with a group of talented youngsters coming through that we could tap into.
