Qarabag Vs Chelsea (CL) Wed 22nd Nov 2017 KO 17:00 GMT

Featured Replies

Qarabag seem to be no mugs apart from the game we played at home when it was 6-0. We need to put a relatively strong team out and then hopefully take a few key players off.

I would go with

Courtois

Rudi Luiz Cahill

Zappa DrinkWater Kante Kennedy

Pedro Morata Willian

Not sure about the opinion that he will rest players, we win we are through, we will want to get the job done, you can imagine the backlash if we play a weaker team, drop points and end up losing at home to Atleti, which isn't farfetched, he will play his full strength squad and rest players if we are 2 or 3  goals to the good

With Liverpool a few days later, I'd go something like:

3-4-3

Courtois

Cahill
Luiz
Rudiger

Kenedy
Drinkwater
Fabregas
Zappacosta

Pedro
Morata
Willian

I reckon we'll win this game and Conte will go very stroing for this, try and get the win and then rest players. We had a very easy second half against WBA so another demolition job here and hopefully a 2 goal lead at HT and we can think about resting players from 60-65mins.

I reckon we'll go with:

Tbo

Rudiger Luiz Cahill

Azp Baka Kante Cesc Alonso

Hazard Morata

Pedro, Willian and Drinkwater to feature from the bench, Chelsea win 3-0.

This is the kind of game you need Fabregas in gets so much time on the ball to cut open the defences with his passing.. put out a strong team get the game won then rotate a little at the end, We can rest a few against Atletico.

How so when someone purposefully makes the fixture list? And as conte said twice now we play on a wed then a sat with a team that played on Tue. It certainly seems like we have been given by far the worse fixtures, no rest and top 6 opponents after 3 CL games in a  row, I mean they made the fixture list, they saw it, can't tell me they didn't look and say oh look thats a bit tougher than everyone else that we "coincidentally" gave chelsea top 6 teams after 3 CL games and did that to no one else, they didn't not notice. As conte said the people who prepare these fixtures "must pay great attention"

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but, for those of you in the UK, BT are showing the match for free on terrestrial telly,  Freeview channel 115

Thanks YB. Looks like 1st half on the radio and 2nd half TV - if I'm lucky with traffic on journey home!

For me kick off is at 6.

Get home at about 5.30, order pizza, open bottle of beer (or vice versa), switch on tv, watch Chelsea.  Excellent.

Sounds good to me Val.

I somewhat agree with this. Why not move the fixtures to Sunday? There's only Everton v Soton, Arsenal v Burnley and City v Huddersfield. isn't it better for TV to have a proper super sunday instead of watching big clubs thrash small clubs?

Paris time?? Fuk Paris, it's Amsterdam time that counts!

I hear ya Valerie!!!

I'm personally really looking forward to the kick off time, it's a whole new strange world of not having any time between work and game.
