Courtois. - did really well 

Backline lived on the edge a bit but defended with every ounce. Team was too deep and cost the goal.

Kante did his best. 

Bakayoko, did a little bit better second half.

Fabregas... Mixed bag. I think the midfield looked a bit more solid when be went off but as usual, he is the one picking the key passes.

Morata needs to sort himself out. 

Worst finishing I've seen from a Chelsea player. 

 

Salomon Kalou, Torres, Chris Sutton... 

2-2 was a fair enough result in the end. 

 

Oh Alvaro Morata... Going through one spell of Torres is enough for two lifetimes... I can't do another one.

I agree about Moratas general play but can we please be careful, this is what we said to justify Torres being absolutely p0ny at finishing for years.

If I was BATS I would hand a transfer request in now...

And if asked why... would say “MORATA, I rest my case”.

Lukaku has been missing sitters himself this season too. He only has 3 more goals than Morata and he has had more time on the pitch than Morata. Don't let stats fool you, Lukaku has been poor for about 2 months now, at least Morata is still playing well. I get it, the finishing is just as crucial, but Lukaku is not somebody i would prefer to have in our team right now.

Remember Crystal Palace? I remember. Seems we need an appearance every month to remind people why Batshuayi doesn't start. League cup hasn't been around in a while so maybe thats why.

This is all on us man.......this is exactly what happens when you dont take your chances.....it will come back to f**k you up big time, as we just witnessed. We have developed a sickness when playing these goons and they up theirs to max level. Morata will come good im sure of it.....his movements etc are very good....but damn he was like a kid today......this inability to take our chances will destroy us further ahead.

 

And now to stinking ref.....did anyone expect he would be fair? All rotten to the core with no acountability and only there to carry out their masters plan/vision......or as one ref called it, game management. 2pts lost and I'll bet jose and klopp have big hard-ons as we write.

It doesn't matter about Lukaku, we didn't buy him, you can't compare a flop to a flop from another team to make yourself feel better.

Really ? i don't remember Torres getting much praise for his general play, even that was sub standard. Torres couldn't even get many shot's on goal for us per game. His movement was non existent, his link up play was average at best and he could never get into 1v1 positions. Literally the only thing missing from Morata's game right now is his finishing with his feet, Torres had far worse problems to deal with.

I don't like Lukaku too, in fact I dislike him. I don't want him near my team. He is so poor, he has missed seaters, Man utd fans are annoyed at him, Chelsea fans are enjoying their misery. 

Which is why Morata is annoying, because he is somehow managing to appear poorer than Lukaku

Torres had an injury which cost him pace and confidence, something that could never be fixed. Morata's problem can be solved easily.

I'm not advocating throwing the baby out with the bath water. Morata is needed. he has and will continue to win us matches.

If i was Conte i would just show this game again in the morning to the board and then ask whether we are now going to get some addiiotional striking firepower, because whilst this was an exciting match we were playing against Chambers and Mustafi. Barcelona will rip us apart.

I would dig it out but there was many people (myself included as I was a fan) who defended Torres sh*te goal return with other things he brought to the party. He was here about four years and in that time no one really turned on him so yes, people defended him and it certainly wasn’t with his goal return.

 

Finishing with your feet is a pretty big problem when you’re a centre forward and it’s been going on for half a season. I’m not saying he won’t come good, but it’s still a big issue.

Yeah, most strikers have periods where nothing seems to go right for them, and this is when you find out what they're made out of. Morata has already done enough in the first part of the season to earn a bit of patience. It's also funny to see people reminiscing over Costa, he was often complete dog sh*t when he wasn't scoring.

I said this in the home game and I will say it again here, arsenal are a very average team.  Virtually always they fall apart against the top 4 or 5 sides so the fact we have failed to beat them twice is not good enough.

Still love Conte, he's the most personable manager of the top clubs

To be honest, i don't think Conte did much wrong today. We may have been better if Drinkwater had started and i was annoyed when he took Hazard off (it's Arsenal, one of our biggest rivals, keep the best player on the field) but i think the Zappacosta sub worked exactly as planned and his tactics got us into 3 1v1 situations. If Morata takes one of those chances, we wouldn't be saying Wenger had his number. We had better chances to win that game than Arsenal did, we just didn't take them.

I blame the ref. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. There is a campaign against Chelsea. I don't know why there is this campaign and I do not care.
