Same here but the risk is too high, besides Conte says he is just coming back from a muscular injury and hadnt played in 30 days prior to his last Arsenal performance. If he gets injured then we are totally f**ked bcoz older players tend to heal slower when it comes to injury. He should be on the bench just incase but With Willian back the false 9 shouldnt be that bad

The irony of loaning a fit younger player who only scores goals to buying an older player susceptible to injuries who can hold up the ball. Isn’t that cutting your face to spite your nose?

I can't help but feel we are like Dad's Army with all these injured players.

On paper we look good with our squad yet when it comes to fielding a strong competitive side ...................

We like buying injured players. Bakayoko Drinkwater Giroud Emerson Barkley

To be fair, Giroud, Emerson and Barkley weren't injured when we bought them. Barkley was back in training a while before we bought him. Everton could probably have played him if they felt like it, but he wasn't in their plans anymore so there was no point. Giroud played for Arsenal a day before we bought him and Emerson played for Roma. One thing you could say though is that none of them were match fit when they joined us.

Scott, I think it is fair to say they are not match fit on the back of returning from injuries so we cannot use them effectively for a while.

We have no choice. Morata doesnt have a backbone and Giroud isnt match fit.

Weird how Giroud isn't deemed fit enough to play (a role of generally hanging around up front) yet Barkley who had been out injured for seven months was fit enough to suddenly play over an hour in the centre of the park of a cup semi final against Arsenal.

And he apparently got a hamstring injury due to this.

From the recent reports and the bet odds going from 20/1 to 5/2 for Enrique that fast, I really fear that if we lose, Conte' will be gone in the morning.

EDIT: If we believe in the bib theory, looking at today's pics, Luiz will be back in the squad. Giroud too.

A must win to stay in the top 4 but I feel with the turmoil going on behind the scenes we're heading for an end of season crash as players down tools; we will probably end up 6th or 7th in the league the way we are playing and Conte's constant whining doesn't help the team spirit.

I was all ready to rock up at the bridge tomorrow thinking we had West Brom. Luckily for me a Palace fan knew our fixtures better than I did and saved some embarrassment :face_palm:

You can't blame us Chelsea fans for been in a daze at the moment.

Not too confident about this.

But it’s a must win game for us and we are now facing a dog fight to secure top4 I feel.
