Chelsea V Hull City (FA) Fri 16th Feb 20:00 UK

Can't understand why Morata isn't starting he needs game time...disappointed not seeing Hudson Odoi getting a starting place but at least there's plenty on youth team players on the bench...hope Conte give them a chance...let's face it, this should be an easy win as Hull have no defence thanks to injury and loan agreements...

Most likely means Zappa won't play against Barca which is unfortunate. Him gunning it down the right flank could have been a good way to get us up the pitch.

Makes my blood boil how Conte rates Ampadu higher than Hudson Odoi

disagree. he is showing belief in hudson-odoi by putting him on the bench and entirely resting hazard. unfortunately i don't think callum would get in ahead of pedro or willian due to experience levels. also, ampadu plays an entirely different position. i love that he's even getting time on the bench, it's exciting. the past cameos are great for his confidence, and being shown that conte would value him over hazard for this match will make him feel trusted by conte.

I dont understand why Hudson-Odoi isn't starting. He better come on as a sub in the 60th minute not 80th or else I'll be disappointed with this lineup once again by Conte like many times this season.

Also it seems Bakayoko is being rested. Hope he realises we're playing barcelona and ups his performance then.

Hopefully the ones starting will have enough to see them off, as there's not much experience on the bench and we could be in store for another Norwich performance/result.

Really refreshing to see a 17-year old start a important game for us. Been a while, last one was McEachran i think.
Go on Ethan!

There are other strikers above Hudson-Odoi in the picking order. Giroud is a better striker than him, as is Morata. Plus, it's the Fa Cup Fifth Round, not the Europa League first qualifying round against TNS. His time will come, just not yet with the strikers in front of him, especially in an important Fa Cup game.

He is not a striker, he should have been played in place of Pedro who has been an absolute joke this season

Would have preferred to see Morata and Hudson-Odoi start, but i'm happy that Emerson and Ampadu are getting a game.

Pretty much the only things I’d like to have seen different, but still really excited to see how these two get on, hopefully CHO will be on earlyish and get a good run out

Would have liked to have seen CHO start but hey ho, I guess Conte's thinking might be given the recent hype about him he doesn't want to burden him with unnecessary pressure. Strong lineup so hopefully we'll have a comfortable lead so CHO can get a solid 30/35 mins in the second half.
