Dear chelsea,

you have let me down a lot this season and quite frankly been a big disappointment...I can forgive you, after all you've spoiled me with more trophies than I could have dreamed of over the last 21 years...but I beg you, please don't lose to this sh*te at the Bridge for the first time since I was 14 on Sunday...I can't ever forgive you for that.

regards,

Desperate middle aged fan

Must win game, as Chelsea fans we know just how important this game is, not just because it’s vital for our top four position, but also because it’s against the sh*tscum spuds. Unfortunately it seems to me this squad of players don’t share our compassion.

Certain players really need a kick up the arse, in fact most of them for what ever reason don’t have the gonads of previous Chelsea teams. Anyway as always ‘come on Chelsea ‘

It's a bit quiet on here for such an important match. I'm Surprised. In reality we are just playing for pride and to maintain our record against Spurs at the Bridge. Top 4 is out of the question. That fantasy took a nosedive when Liverpool beat Palace. Had they lost and we had beaten Spurs and Liverpool we would be back in the mix but as it now stands I see a Top 4 finish as a pipe dream. Interesting fact is that this season we will have only played 8 times on a Saturday at 3 pm out of 38 games. That's laughable really. As for today I reckon Kane will make an appearance....surprise, surprise !!! It will most likely be a draw but we could well lose today. Not that confident and the season can't end soon enough. We need a massive clear out in the Summer with a top manager to lead us. Too much dead wood in this team. I hope Roman does something about it but I'm not holding my breath. Let's hope we get a result today. COME ON YOU BLUES !!!

We all know what's required, let's hope we don't take the cautious approach and try to sneak out a 1:0, the last thing you want from a match like this is not giving it all . Unless Kane makes a miracle recovery for this game, we are the favourite and should like it. Spurs has the habit of f* it up in big games, we need to go out guns blazing and blow them off the park, let's hope we will see that.

I am guessing the title is meant to be ironic. Let's watch these clips again to get in the mood for a true win-or-bust game. Who's the match-fixer  ref today?

The worst cowardice shown by an officiating team outside of South America...Clattenburg has been forced to admit that he chose to let it degenerate into war by deliberately not sending anyone off...what happened to the ref's duty in protecting the players on the field? And why didn't the FA or PMO investigate Clattenburg's comments last year about this game? No wonder Clattenburg ran off to the Middle East...good riddance mate and don't come back...

Difficult to watch that without screaming "you f**king dirty scum c**t spuds"

There is no excuse to not win this match, it's at home, Kane is out, it should be on a plate for us if anything.

If we don't win this match we either lacked the desire or we weren't good enough. Either way that's not what I want to see and that destroys any hope of getting top 4 this season and more than likely the F.A. Cup if we crumble every time we play the top 6 teams.

Today is all about Erickson...deny him and you really make Spurs toothless...couple of good and hard early tackles and he'll disappear...it's a shame that we don't have that hard midfielder any more...Ampudu could have been that player but he's out for the season...

Perhaps i'm just being my usual pessimistic self, but i can't shake the feeling this is where we finally lose to them at home, it'll the the icing on the cake of blowing the top 4.

It's a possibility depending on how we setup and who is selected
