Should be beating this lot comfortably.

Reckon we might see a front three of Hazard, Giroud and Morata.... Especially after the petulance shown by Willian after being subbed against Southampton.

Another impressive performance from Emerson and Alonso might not be recalled straight away following his suspension.

A start in midfield for Bakayoko might be on the cards too.

Yeah, because you really would want to leave out one of your better players just because he wasn't grinning from ear to ear at being substituted. ::MooNeY::::MooNeY::::MooNeY::

I thought it showed quite a lot of dissent on his part to essentially walk off of the pitch and then head straight down the tunnel.

I get disappointment at being substituted but you have to put your ego to one side and respect the manager's decisions and show good grace for the good of the team.

Just my opinion on it of course but I didn't like it.

And it was really christian of the BT director to keep the camera on Willian all the time he was walking off,  and then down the tunnel,  despite the match having restarted.

Still, with BT's falling audiences they have to try desperately to generate some sort of controversy.

I expect he just went straight off for a piss and a bit of a blub, because he appeared to be genuinely upset at being taken off, but he was back out on the bench with the other substitutes a few minutes later, and seemed genuinely quite happy at the end of the match.

Still, opinions and arseholes, eh?

I would imagine the same team from Sunday would be in the team with TBo, Christensen for Cahill and maybe Baka for Cesc... although I could see Cesc in there as I imagine Swansea will sit back but I could be wrong, usually

                               Tbo,

                        Azp   AC   Rudi

               Moses  Kante  Cesc  Emerson

                 Willyyyy  Giroud  Hazard

Give the nature of the game, I'd throw 2 strikers on like the the week before and see how long they could stay with us. The likes of Hazard/Willian/Cesc get us play eye pleasing short passing football, but none of them are real go scorers. We all remember those shockers Morata missed, but I reckon if we keep hitting those crosses in the box, our big strikers are likely to turn in a couple of those. Against lesser teams who defended compact this season, we were hopless breaking them down in many games, may as well hit them direct and hard, no defenders like to contest high balls with Giroud/Morata.

Id go with the 2 strikers against Swansea in a 3-5-2 and keep Hazard and or Willy on the bench as impact subs when the opposition defence is knackered, same with Huddersfield & the barcodes. Of course start them both vs Dippers & at Wembeley.

Ya, I'd go with that team too.

We should have enough to beat Swansea with the above anyway.

I dont think we'll catch either side for 4th, losing at the Bridge to Spurs was the nail in the coffin, however, we have Swansea (a) Pool (h) Huddersfield (h) Newcastle (a), if we want to catch those above us we'll have to win every game and hope for a massive collpase.

Spurs have Watford (h), WBA (a) Newcastle (h) Leciester (h), which is a very handy run in that should see them over the line, with their superior GD, they only need 6 points from 12 available to be safe.

Pool have Stoke (h) Chelsea (a) Brighton (h), like Spuds, its a p*ss easy run in and one that should see them romp home to at least 4th.

Anyway, lets win all our games and be in a good position for the cup final and finish this dour season with some silverware.

If top 4 was dead in the water, I could see the youngsters playing more.... however, as its still possible ... I reckon we will see the strongest side possible out every week

I may sound like a spoilt brat, but I REALLY don’t want us to play in Europa next season - If we do, fine I’ll support the team to go all the way.

But, playing in Europa makes league life difficult and we’ll be playing odd kick off times most of the season.

I know I’d rather see us play in Champions league, or no Europe at all and really go for the league and domestic cups.

At this rate, we cant finish below 6th, which is a EL place, Burnlry cant catch us. So we're either in the EL (99% sure we will be) or we hope to win all our games and help from Pool or Spuds and nick 4th.

The only hope we have, is dippers on Saturday player like, after the lord mayor's show and stoke win at Anfield, highly unlikely though

Spurs need 8 from 4 I believe. We'd finish on 75pts if we win out. Still not that difficult for them but beats 6.

Liverpool for me are who we should be aiming for. Run the table and they'll have to win both the Stoke and Huddersfield matches. Stoke are fighting for survival right now and Huddersfield may also be by the time that match rolls around. Plus Liverpool have Roma to worry about

If Liverpool win the CL would we get the 4th CL spot?

I think if we get the three points against Swansea we will crank up the pressure on Spurs. Look how quick we lost 3rd place over the course of a few games.
