Drinkwater I almost definitely see going this summer.  Barkley i think will stick around, £15m and is a talent.  He could turn out to be a bargain, genuinely.

 

for today though id stick with the team that beat Liverpool.  Perhaps Ross for Bakayoko or Cesc.  About it.  I know people want the youth in but it aint happening IMO.  Whether you think Brighton will win or not, this game still has potential CL behind it.  He has to treat it as if we are right in with a chance, simple

Newcastle are our  bogie team away from home. Not expecting much today and top 4 is a million to one chance. I'd prefer Jody Morris to manage us for the FA Cup Final. I'll be glad when Conte finally leaves our club. COME ON YOU BLUES !!!

After hearing the players were annoyed with the team selection against Huddersfield I expect a reaction. We will be even worse!!!

We don't play youth at Chelsea. Never have, never will. 

Barkley finally getting some game time- probably his last game for us.

If Liverpool lose we can get into the champions league?.. They haven't exactly been on a good run either.

Don’t agree, think he’ll be given another season, Drinkwater is a goner though. 

You have to go out with the attitude that Liverpool might slip up, unlikely as it is. I can imagine the reaction here if we fail to win playing a load of youth and Liverpool lose.

Would be nice to see some youth. Why we're clinging to a Liverpool loss is beyond me. They are fighting for top four too haha and they're at home, oh and they're fantastic this year, AND Salah wants the golden boot. THEY ARE NOT LOSING!

Solanke is starting for Pool though, so they are already down to ten men. 

So is Barkley in a midfield 3 of a 3-5-2? Or is Conte still trying to shoehorn him into a winger spot in a 3-4-3?

And if we did play youth and lose, and Liverpool lose then I'm sure no one would mind.......

I can’t believe those of you that want us to throw the game by playing all the youth! We still have a chance and the FA Cup is a week away. 

I've just seen Conte's pre match interview. He sounded like he'd lost a tenner and found a penny. With Barkley in midfield, we've got some pace there at last, as long as he hasn't been at the pies while sitting on the bench. Let's hope our attitude is good and try and win the game, whatever happens elsewhere.
