Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2018/2019

Man utd are truly awful under Mourinho. Worse than LVG, maybe even worse than Moyes. It's a shame to say it, but Mourinho is still managing as if it's 2008, not 2018. Football has changed. He won't see out the season.

I was trying to think if a Liverpool or United win would be good for us. I guess it doesn’t really matter as we won’t be near either of them. United will be 6th and Liverpool 1st/2nd.

It was more important that Arsenal lost.

No. Nonononono.

Recap: no.

They're still undefeated, you can't write it off, but City are just too good in every area, I can't see City bottling it.

So Mourinho's objective was to stop Liverpool playing.......well, he's definitely failed there. His defensive masterclasses just don't happen anymore like they did with us and Inter Milan. There just aren't enough players around these days to play that way.

Jose has to be close to a sacking again.......lets see what his post match words will be like. f**k it, we won, all that Counts.

I think Liverpool may well win it, we should have beaten them and didn't now they look like they have the energy and team to do it. Klopp is really getting them going now, you can see the player's are playing for him and love him

lets hope he stays just a tad longer !!

Would be ridiculous to pay him £12m for sinking the ship. Just ride it out till the end of the season, probably is where next for him?

Deflections and gifts, Liverpool are certainly getting the luck.

That said, United were awful and spent most of the match struggling to get the ball out of danger. They were poor in every area, weak defence, mid field wasn't there and their attack was incredibly unorganized. Twice United had a good attack going and a cross was played across to... no one. They kept doing attacks that should have had 3-4 players at least running up yet the only option was one heavily marked player.

This could be the game that costs Mourinho his job but I think the squad is the biggest problem, not (just) the manager.

United only have themselves to blame for how far they have fallen since Ferguson left. 3 managers, all of them the wrong choice, and some really poor signings. Has any signing actually paid off for them in recent times? I mean properly paid off? The last great signing they made was De Gea, and that was in 2011. Every other signing has been either decent at times or just completely awful.
