Jason Mohammad on Final Score is one of the main reasons why I don't watch much of Final Score on BBC. He always comes out with nonsense. He has just said that Van Dijk should be looked at as one of the best CB's the Premier League has ever seen. He's been playing at the top level for 1 year and is without a single major winners medal in football :face_palm: When he has been playing consistently well at this level for 10 years, then people can talk about him being one of the best, but right now, he is nowhere near it.

Terry, Carvalho, Ferdinand, Vidic, Adams, Keown, Kompany, Desailly.........I could easily go on. Van Dijk is good, but he has a very long way to go until he reaches the levels of these players.

Our joke former striker Chris Sutton nominated VvD as the current best player in the world. Not best defender, the best player. And that was about six weeks into this season. Somehow I don't think he got these sort of reviews at Southampton.

Tottenham ....... bollocks.

Never been more worried about Spurs in 30 years. If they win the league I would have to sell my house and move far, far away.

I’m signing up for one of those missions to Mars if either they or the scousers are within a few games of winning. I’ll save you a seat.

That Spurs side have really come on leaps and bounds since Poch first took over. Obviously Kane is a world class striker, but Eriksen was nowhere near the player he is now. Alli has regressed a little since two/three seasons ago, but still a very good player and Son has become one of their more influential players. Add to that they have a world class cente back in Alderwiereld and very good wing backs in Trippier and Rose. All those players have grown and matured over the seasons and just got better.

it's a sorry state of affairs when it looks like the only team capable of stopping Liverpool winning the league is Tottenham :face_palm:

It helps Liverpool when refs give them Penalties for salah just throwing himself to the ground like a stroppy 5 year old who didn't get the Xmas present he wanted.

10 goals (so far) in 2 games says it all...

That crossed my mind, they haven't looked the same since we beat them

Ah f**k I think we did it again.

11 goals for Spurs in 2 games.
Liverpool hit at least 4 again.

Wish we had some goal scorers.

Well, should Liverpool win the title you can look forward to hearing their most insufferable fans from the 70's/80's in full voice.

On the other hand, from a Chelsea perspective, having Tottenham win the title would be about as welcome as contracting some exotic, incurable disease.

It's a double-bind; whomever wins, as a Chelsea fan you still lose.

Hats off to Leicester. We obviously underestimated them.

They are a good side, or at least can be one their day. They just don't turn up a lot. Obviously the draw against City last week in the cup gave them some confidence to take to the Bridge, then after the win against us, they've taken even more confidence into a game in which they did well previously.

Kind of frustrating watching Liverpool at the moment, knowing it's going to require patience on our part to get up where they are. Liverpool have had their fair share of suffering and disappointed over the past few seasons under Klopp though, so now the patience, trust and backing of Klopp, the players and the process is reaping rewards.

Looking like the long wait could well be over for the red scouse. 7 points clear of Citeh with the chance to extend it to 10 with a win at the Emptihad week after next.

Plenty of time left for them to bottle it, we saw what happened the last time they were close to a maiden Premier League title.

Poch is an amazing manager.......if he goes to utd its bad news to all of us.

Yeah there's plenty of time for them to screw the pooch, but Klopp is a much better manager than Rodgers and their defence this season is ATM set to break Chelsea's defensive record. Their defence back then was leaking goals like a sieve. So I'm pretty worried...
