We could have done that to Wolves. We missed sitters. Huddersfield and Liverpool did not.

We should have been 4 - 0 up against Wolves before they scored.

Liverpool will win and I won't begrudge them, rather tham than another cheating City team who don't abide by the FFP rules.

Can’t see them winning it, and they have been here before. Key for me is City have winners in their squad, you look at the Liverpool team and bar Fabinho I don’t think any of them have ever won anything.

i think this is the year, it is a terrible thing to happen but i am just accepting they will win it this year, just get it over with

When you look at all the sh*tty things Man City have done and their owners have done, it's hard to want them to win it, even if Liverpool is the alternative.

Liverpool might beat our record of only 15 conceded in a season. Only 7 in 17 games so far.

The despair on this forum is sometimes appalling ! We're halfway through the season, only 8 and 7 points behind dippers and sihtty, and considering they basically use cheatcodes at this point (unlimited cash, media support and refs going their way for both of them, although the dippers' deepthroat from media is worse than for sihtty), I think the team has been pretty good so far imo, despite our problems (no strikers, some subpar performances, the 2nd half recess, kovavic and his injuries etc..) . Although it is very likely either of them win the league, let's remember one or two things :

1- up until the 90th min, we would have been the first team to beat dippers in the PL and are the only ones to have defeated sihtty (and also the only english team this year to have defeated dippers in the league cup).

2 - A seven or eight point gap after 17/18 games has never been synonymous with the PL being over for us (remember 2011? Although Luiz cost us the game at OT back then, we had a chance to win the PL back to back after having been something like 12 or 15 points behind manure in MARCH of this year ...).

3- The team is playing good and at times fantastic offensive football, the results are more than decent, players seem to like this Sarri's football and we're still in the Europa League and favourites to win it and clinch a 6th european/international trophy, which would see us closing the gap with manure's total of 8 international trophies...

 

I totally get the hate for dippers and sihtty of course, but we'll be fine since none of these schmucks will overtake us in terms of PL won since the inception of the PL in 1992 (after all, it would only be dippers' first PL and Sihtty's fourth while we got 5 PL). Plus, that terrible gap of 7/8 points might be a thing of the past circa march when dippers would get stuffed (hopefully) or would get a hard time vs Bayern in the Ro16 of the UCL at least and Sihtty losing steam in the league because of it (or who knows, Schalke might actually show up).

2-1 now. Though i can't see Burnley getting any kind of result.

3-1 now and the delightful Ashley Barnes and team stay in the relegation zone.

I swear the epl is such an embarrassment thanks to the fa and the refs.......if he does not get a ban for that then you might as well watch wwe where sh*t is allowed. How in the f**k did the refs miss that.......nothing new though, we ourselves been through worse. Neither the ref or the lines man saw that ha........what a Circus it has become.

As much as I hate City and the scumbag club that they are, I would still prefer them to win it over Liverpool.

But it's out of our hands, I'm not going to get upset over it, I'm more focused on Chelsea getting top 4 which is equally just as infuriating.

There is something wrong with that bloke. he look's angry all of the time. How can you be that angry when you are earning that much money and playing in the Premier League? I still think he wanted to seriously injure one of our players a few years ago. Ivanovic, Zouma and Matic, he could have easily seriously injured all 3 of these players. Ivanovic and Zouma were lucky they didn't break their necks and Matic was lucky to not have his leg broken.

Sean Dyche is partly responsible for this behaviour from Barnes too, he encourages it. The bloke always moans about other teams diving, well what about the thuggish behaviour of his own players? what is his answer to that?
