Sarri lost this game in the first 15 minutes. He made Spuds look like a good team they actually have been utter sh*t.

We've played bad but that was some really bad refereeing

Kovacic offers nothing that RLC doesn’t, man is trying a robana at 2-0 down ffs. Jorginho non existent, Luiz turning his back on shots, Morata continuously offside, embarrassing performance, Sarri doesn’t want to spend a penny in Jan lol.

It shouldn't need to be said but, start slow, and you always run the risk of being beaten. Will we ever learn though? doubt it.

I think the first one was penalty, the second one was too easy for Hazard to fall.

Overall, we're too easy for Spurs in that half. I believe that Sarri will make an aggressive speech, we're too slow and giving Spurs to much space.

We must add more aggression to our game, we must move the ball much faster and our attack have to work faster. 

Only Hazard and Kante are in the game, others are far from their best. It's not over yet, we have 45 minutes to turn this game and make a fantastic comeback, keep your heads up and believe!!

I actually thought Kante was poor, he’s not great on the back and his main asset of being a terrier and winning the ball back is negated in this system. I actually think Hazard & Morata (other than the offsides) have been our best performers tonight. All in all though, there’s no one who I would say is ‘playing well’ just mediocre. We really should be losing by 4 or 5 which is shocking, irrelevant of the penalty claims.

Slow starts away from home versus top 6 clubs usually ends in disaster - it'd be the same at Anfield and the Etihad - hope Sarri learns from this.,

Not going to get anything out of this.

It's a wake-up call today. We've had an eays start to the season, the only "hard" teams we;ve played are Arsenal where we really should have conceded about 5 on another day, and Utd who were poor and yet we only just nicked a late draw.

Are weaknesses are being exposed for all to see today. Everton showed the way last game, by man-marking Jorginho, you nullify him, our striker can't be relied upon to get a goal when we need him, and our defence is just always likely to concede, no matter how much possession we have.

 

I expect he'll bring on Barkley at some point in the 2nd half, and Giroud and Pedro, but I can't see it making any difference.

 

 

Morata is champsionship level at best. This isn't form or confidence. He's not even glancing to see if he's offside.

Gotta love the insanely one sided ref decisions though, that yellow to Hazard at the end was just pathetic.

I said it's all Sarri's fault, I saw how Spuds played a few games prior to this one and they were at best average.

Morata hasn't done anything special when I watch Kane on another side I'm starting to jealous. Two airballs he got for us, other than he showed no passion, no aggression and nothing that can create a chance.

Yes we've been awful but the referee has been a disgrace should have had 2 penalties. Big second half needed time to earn your money Maurizio! Come on Chels!

We were poor but the referee was even worse! How come is it possible that one team can be dealt so unfairly? That couln't happen in any other country in Europe.

BT have literally just shown Martin Atkinson looking directly at the foul on Hazard and he’s said that he’s looking at the upper body? What was he squinting to not be able to see their legs as well?

I think it's the players that need to learn. How often does this happen to us? No matter who is in charge, we can't seem to stop having these poor starts. What pisses me off is that when one of these bad starts comes back to haunt us, we start the next game or two fast but then it's straight back to slow starts soon after.
