I feel Elon might have pulled a bakayoko buying Twitter.

Never understood the appeal of Twitter. Seems by far the most pointless of all the social media. I do have an account ... created in 2009 ... and I've posted 3 tweets in that time, and the last one (in 2014) said "3 tweets in 5 years ... must do better" ...  :-)

I don't have a Twitter account, but I do use it for Football. It's the only thing about it that I have found useful. The rest of it seems to be a cesspool of hate.

The worst thing about it is how Twitter outrage seems to spread to the real world. I hate it, people just need to step away from social media sites like Twitter and live their lives instead of absorbing constant misery.

Twitter will probably be used on the moon and mars etc and be integrated and upgraded into tesla as well as getting rid of all the fake stuff and doing away with that ridiculous blue tick non sense

Hes spent about 42 times what he spent on acquiring/building tesla and spacex

Hes just the only cool human to ever get that rich and I for one welcome our new overlord

Hopefully he takes trump with him to twitters HQ and they set up a camera so we can watch trump fire each blue haired Taliban activist posing as an employee one at a time on a live feed haha

Now Twitter is mad at you

Paul Cannovile carries a lot of weight at #ChelseaFC, his thoughts being made public and his backing of the consortium led by Todd Boehly are said to have guided Roman Abramovich and the #ChelseaFC board in their favour. So much so that Raine are expected to name them as preferred bidder in the next 48 hours.

Via @JM7

All three #Chelsea bidders are expecting to be informed by Raine Group which bid has been chosen on Thursday or Friday.

Quick - Someone post the “it’s happening” GIF!

@JM7

Raine have asked the 3 remaining bidders to give their final, or closing, argument at the end of the week as to why they should be selected as the club's new custodians.

Apparently they have been very mindful to unsure fairness and that all 3 bidders are given both an equal platform and time.

While nothing is certain Todd Boehly consortium is said to be favorite, however several other reports say their is little between the bids.

Roman could chose one of the 2 bids not put forward as preferred candidate too.

It is very hard to say at this point which consortium we would be best with. Boehly looks the best but if their money is mostly coming from one company it puts the whole thing in risk of their success.

I would love Broughton to succeed to have an English owner. That would set us apart from all the top 6 sides but ultimately the nationality is irrelevant.

All 3 consortiums have strong sporting presentation which is great. All have People who know how to run a club.

I liked Pagliuca simply becuase he kept out of the limelight. Whatever happens i can see years of circus activity and overblown hype  :Scott:amid under delivery. We're all doomed

I do hope the next lot in clean the old quard out, be more vocal in their hopes and aspirations, talk to the fans more, take hold of the team, and look after contracts, never let a Rudi, AC scenario happen again, never spunk a 100 million on a Wheel less Ferrari again, and invest massively in a re build, Give us a new young(er) captain, Mase or Reece, and instil JTism(never say die)….

fair comment re the bidders but do the people gathering and vetting the bids know how to run a purchase/sale of a club and what if Roman doesnt wish to proceed with any of the chosen one(s).

Definitely does feel like we are going to be 'overexposed' with the new American owners. That might be good for branding but definitely will be different than what we are used to as Chelsea fans.

I can't help it, but everytime I read that name I have to think of this guy.

Same here, every time - and he was second fiddle to Angelo Peruzzi for Italy most of the time.  I think that rules them out of the bid, even though its not him.

Same here. That name is such fun to say as well. Like a song. 😄

I think Luca moved to USA and he decided to be more American and changed his name to plain old Steve.

Chelsea has a strong connection to italians so Pagliuca is probably a good fit as well.

Can you imagine the catering staff and stewards next season smiling and asking every two seconds can we help and have a nice day!!

Catering staff are contractually obliged to be miserable!
