They way other top4 results are going with the exception of Arsenal we could very well end up in top 4, it's in our hands.

If we also get to the Europa final think RA will plump for keeping him rightly or wrongly.

We're also yet to play away at Old Trafford and Anfield. Even if other teams drop points, do you realistically see Sarri's Chelsea winning all their remaining games? This is a team that has trouble beating relegation no-hopers. It's because the other teams were giving us too much respect early in the season that we're still in a mix for a top four place, but don't let that fool you, we've been poor for months.

If Sarri had any sense, we should have adjusted long ago, go back to counter attacking style and grind out results, if need be, by now we'd have enough points to really aim for a CL spot. Instead he insisted on doing things his way and here we are.

Sadly that will be put to bed when we get mullered at Utd and Liverpool, those two games could get very messy, mind you there is hope, Kante in his rightful position, no Jorginiho, no Alonso, CHO and RLC in the team and Higuain not in the side, O wait a minute, that ain't happening, Na we are getting mullered then. There's always managers that don't work out at certain clubs and managers that go on bad runs and get the boot, but has there ever been a manager that constantly plays the wrong team and doesn't change tactically.

The Sarri lovers have a bit more time to back him for a few more weeks after Utd losing last night but please don't get to comfortable, it's going to get dire in the next month.

Chelsea being Chelsea are likely to get a result at one of those fixtures, our team seem to be able to turn up on big occasions, like taking City to pens in the League Cup after the 6-0 hammering.

Let me guess Kantes rightful position, DM ?

That team would get hammered, almost as if people don't remember arsenal being 3 up at half time. The last time Kante played DM

OGS was only hoping for 15 out of 21 points. Now he's hoping for 15 out of 18. We beat united away and we have a massive advantage on them. And we can beat them.

I don't think we've got enough to get top 4. But perversely I don't think united or Tottenham do either. And one of us has to get it.

I agree, it will get dire, if those fans keep chanting for him to leave every time we get 3 points, just imagine what they'll shout if we lose.

Maybe we should just get behind him for the next month, let's face it, their is no chance he gets sacked until the seasons over, it's way too late in the campaign to bottle it now..

I hope they keep quiet tonight unless we find ourselves 2-0 down with game changers left on the bench.

Just wait until the final whistle is best option,

Why isn't France getting hammered?

Why isn't France getting hammered?

France didnt play with Kante as a DM in a 3 at the world cup. He's always played in a midfield two.

Which he does for France. Our system under Sarri isn't a midfield 2

It should be, I think we should be 4-2-3-1.

We played to our supposed strengths last year and wound up with a mid table form set of results for 5 months.

Our results last season had nothing to do with playing to our strengths and everything to do with Conte falling out with the board and several players and generally just not giving a f**k. I thought that was a well-known fact to every CFC supporter.

The fans were chanting for sarri out, when we were 1 down against a relegation doomed team who didn't have their strongest team out due to injuries and us fans at the game had been watching a pathetic performance with ridiculous team selection, soon as some sensible players were bought on the game eventually was won. There were no chants of Sarri out once we got the three points. Maybe the Sarri out chants woke the manager up, because he bought RLC on and he scored winner?

Start of the season I (and many other people here) said I’d be more than happy with top 4 and some good cup runs. We’re still very much in the running for top 4, we came very close in the LC final, and we’re still in contention for the EL.

What exactly are people moaning about? None of us expected to be challenging this year, and back in early pre-season it seemed like it was going to be a season of complete disaster.

Three really good goals tonight and a clean sheet, what more could you ask for?

Goals and assists from Giroud, RLC and CHO. Hard to see how those three aren’t first choice now as they keep out performing those getting picked ahead of them.

Even Christensen had another good game at the back.

So is Sarri going to keep these changes or revert back to the usual suspects?

Of course taking a top 4 spot would have been our objective, but it's not as simple as us finishing in the top 4 and everybody will be perfectly happy, there is a lot more to it than that. We still have many reasons to be worried.

We are going forward with a very stubborn manager who is very reluctant to change.

We have been very poor for over 5 months now.

Hazard is very likely going to leave.

Hudson-Odoi has been badly managed which resulted in him putting in a transfer request. I still think there is a high chance he will ask to leave again at the end of the season.

Then there is the transfer ban which I don't think we have much hope in overturning.

So yeah, I think it's perfectly understandable that many fans have been moaning in recent months.

How has he been badly managed? He’s 18 and has broken into the first team this season. At 18. Sarri was clear he needed to improve tactically and he has. Does anyone seriously think he should have just been handed an automatic start back in August over hugely experienced players who have been loyal servants of this club for years?

Really don't think you have a leg to stand on with that argument Ken. It has been an example of exactly how not to manage a top class young talent. Sarri's comments about CHO following his performance for England the other week were nothing short of disgraceful.I

Be interesting to see if he swallows his stubborness and now gives CHO more pitch time.
