The time Wolves give us to pass the ball is poison. We are complaicent with the ball and don't want to run into pockets and keep the momentum going.

It's easier to pass backwards and sideways so we can keep possession for the sake of it, rather than to even think about making a forward risky pass that might not actually work.

I do wonder if Sarri takes any notice of how his opponents are likely set up with his team selections. We are crying out for width and players who can run with the ball but are playing straight into their strengths by continually bring the ball inside. This is looking very much Chelsea nil and wether Wolves get lucky on the break.

I'm really tired of this awful football we play. There's no pace, no urgency, no directness. It's all just slow passing around the edge of the box, trying to thread the perfect ball through 11 men. Why can't we get some crosses in, or have some shots from distance? Surely they can try something different? Anything?!

Give Wolves respect and stop thinking we have a right to win, they are pretty much 11 men behind the ball. They have done this to all the top 6

So pick your side accordingly. Have players who can run with the ball and get to the byline . CHO and RLC again sat on the bench.

Why give a team that has no intention of attacking respect?  Yeah they have defended well, but it's negative football.  That said they will probably be rewarded for it with an 80th minute counter attack.

We are in control of the ball just need one breakthrough and it will come surely.

That isn’t exciting to me, it’s incredibly boring. There’s no point in having possession if you’re unable to do anything with it, which we can’t. We just pass the ball around aimlessly. That midfield three is not the three that should be playing in a game like this in my opinion.

Reverted back to the same type of performance as before the league cup final.

All huff and no puff.

The players look devoid of ideas how to create any decent openings. Making it all too easy for Wolves so far.

No idea why Kovacic is starting ahead of Barkley and RLC today, this is the sort of game you’re looking to a midfielder to come up with something. Kovacic isn’t going to give you much in that final third.

Who says Chelsea have a right to win? The football has been like this for most ths season so it's nothing new, a decent chance in 45mins could be something.

It's not boring ffs we are in control and had some openings but not much yet, you prefer a sh*t performance and a lose of a 4:0 again do you? Every team is just passing the ball around get a grip of yourself, Wolves are a decent team and have a good record in away games it's not easy to score we just need 1 big breakthrough.

Jorginho is a very poor footballer. Anytime he’s put under a bit of pressure he falls apart and give the ball away away more often than not.

CHo and RLC would not make no difference if you haven't noticed they are doubling up on the wings against Pedro and Hazard and would do the same against CHO they have a plan which is working , we have to be patient

Thank f666 for that.  I was beginning to wonder where I was. No one except Man City has taken Wolves apart this season, and Wolves have come here today with no intention of letting us do it either.

It’s incredibly boring as several poster have pointed out.

I'm finding I'm eating more and making more tea during our games the 2nd half of the season knowing full well I won't be missing much of the action....and still find we have the ball in our own half when I come back to the TV.

Tbh we are not hard to set up against. Opposition managers know the way we play, the players playing and if they can get the first goal they know we will struggle to get 2. A team just needs to spend the week working as a defensive unit.

Tough game.

Wolves are sitting extremely deep with 5 at the back.

We haven't really been able to create anything. 'Sarriball' will no doubt come under fire, but I'm not sure what we could really do tactically, we could try and go more direct with earlier crosses, but higuain is up against 3 centre backs. Or we could try and sit deeper in our half and hope wolves come into us, which I think is very unlikely.

We have executed this wolves plan many times in the past. if teams are deep and disciplined, it usually requires a slice of luck, or a moment of magic to open things up.

Maybe RLC could make something happen.

You don't need to watch it you know. I don't watch something that's boring to me.
