July 26, 20232 yr Stated the dressing room was a toxic place because there were a lot of players that didn't want to be here.
July 27, 20232 yr Think that was obvious, glad Reece had the balls to come out and address it though. Reece as captain is growing on me more, just needs to keep fit. As Terry said, you need your captain playing and performing every week.
July 27, 20232 yr To be a permanent captain is a big thing. Sometimes I wonder if Reece's aggressive streak is a good thing or a bad thing for a captain. Yesterday he started shoving Joelinton after he kind of frustratingly kicked the ball way after the whistle. He sort of made that situation and sometimes it looks like he does it on purpose. Otherwise he is a good captain in my eyes.

August 9, 20232 yr Think we can all agree there was only one long term choice here.... .... and Pochettino fumbled it....
August 9, 20232 yr Seriously congrats Reece well earned. What you did before was not enough though, being captain of your club means stepping up to a whole new level.
August 9, 20232 yr Just now, Sconnie Blue said: Chilwell vice captain. I can only assume that Silva is not a planned first choice for Pochettino then.

August 9, 20232 yr So who's stepping in as third captain once James and Chilwell are both crocked LOL My money would be on Fernandez if that happens ... 🙂
August 9, 20232 yr Cripes, is Pochettino standing in a hole? He's 6'. Same as them. Or is that not Pochettino?

August 9, 20232 yr Il piccolo maestro! He's of Italian descent, from Piedmont in the north, bugs me that he doesn't use the Italian pronunciation.
August 9, 20232 yr The best choice in my opinion, really happy for the lad, just hope we can keep him fit.
August 9, 20232 yr Saw that the thread was hot, came in expecting the worst and that he had picked up another injury. Thank f**k it was something positive for once.
