If this happen only this time then you have case but this happen every time Reece went down injured. 

Let's say instead of jorgi we have gundo. After azpi came for James you just ask gundo to push up more and problem solved. 

 

 

 

Everybody knows king James, Joao Felix first thing he said was about Reece too. Imagine if he had a proper RW in front of him...

I'm not sure I;'ve ever seen Reece play with any real drive or urgency. Everything is so slow and casual. Even with 30 seconds to go, drawing, he's taking his time letting the ball go out of play for a needless throw, and passing it around instead of whipping a cross in.

For me that's one of the reasons I liked the idea of him at RCB for Tuchel with a dynamic RWB like Hakimi bombing forward. When Reece is not on the box shooting he's just way too passive to make things happen. 

Maybe he's more suited to the holding midfielder role after all, would be an improved version of today's midfield, though RLC did well enough.

Cmon now, he's the best RB out there. For once he should hit the breaks and not get injured.

I saw Chilwell bust his gut more in 10 seconds. James needs to stop playing these games where he has his head in the clouds. I know he's been injured and he's going to need time to get back to his best, but it's always been an issue with him. There is no reason why he should be avoiding a cross if the opportunity is there. He needs to stop taking the safe option and make things happen. He's got the quality, so he should use it. If a cross doesn't come off, then try again next time. With the quality of crosses and his strength, he should be linking with the winger and swinging a cross in multiple times a game.

He was the chief outlet in our attack, last couple of games he was no where near his true self, but he needs time to re-discover his form. Agreed He needs to whip in more crosses, it doesn't need to be perfect, just cause panics like West Ham did with their goal.

Has not looked like the Reece James we know and love these 2 games. barely even noticed he played.

To think he will be tearing the flanks after being out injured for almost 6 months is absurd.. ideally he should not be playing 90 mins soo soon.. no worries about him.

In fairness there were two instances in yesterday's game that were begging for a near post runner but Havertz took up the wrong position

He won't look nearly as good at rightback as he did as the RWB for Tuchel. Especially not under Potter.

He's not protected defensively anymore and teams will look to exploit crosses to the back post.

Hes just returned from serious injuries, do people really expect him to blast back in and play exactly the same way? Some of you are so absurd.

Was the best RB in the league under Lamps in a back 4 still.

I would be massively surprised if Silva is not simply being rested. 

 We also know Cucurella has had personal issues and that could well be why he is out 

Koulibaly was sick recently, that could be why Ziyech and James are out, or James could be being rested too having started 3 on the spin.
