So many chances to get a shot away there, and we played it backwards everytime.

 

Poor half from us, very poor, we are just lucky that United have a mistake in them. We need to be much better in the second half. Loftus-Cheek should come on for Kovacic, Kovacic has done nothing to suggest he should be coming back out onto the field in the 2nd half.

Not really higuain has been far worse. 

Those last 30 seconds or so just sums us up. Dicking around with it at the edge of the box, slowing it down until nothing comes of it. With them facing a dodgy keeper who had just made a howler you'd think one of them would be a little quicker on the ball, make some space and take a shot at him.

We’ve been really insipid, and typically united have shown up today (bar de gea). Tactic should probably be to play for a draw and have as many shots from distance as possible.

I'd bring OG & Reuben on at half time and just try blow them away. Do something different. We may as well go for it

However, he seems to be one of the few players that will take risks, Hazard, Willian, Kovacic could learn a thing or two from it.

We need to take more shots, De Gea's confidence will have been hit even more by that. Enough passing around their area, no need to score the perfect goal. Well played Rudi for taking that on and Marcos for his composure. Big second half ahead!

He's getting worse when it comes to United, can barely stand him on the matter, he's too emotionally invested in them. Even though he tries his best not to seem biased, he'll go into heavy detail about them more than any other team, 20 minute segments of United not being good enough if they don't win a game. 

Anything else I like him on, but United it's all emotion, he's just upset at De Gea. 

I suspect Kovacic is on as we have Alonso at LB, it will be interesting to see if Sarri introduces RLC in the 2nd half.

Old style Premier League first half. Happy we got back into it. Need to focus for the first 15 and then get RLC and Giroud on to see if we can't get all three points. Biggest 45 of our season coming up right here. 

Something needs to change. 

That was a fluke goal. Its too comfortable for united. Please bring on Giroud or do something we are too passive. 

we've been so poor. lucky to be 1-1. I'd be happy to finish this way.

I hate listening to him when he is talking about United, too often he let's his emotions get in the way. I think he is good when he's talking about other teams though.

I would replace both of them at right back ? Alonso as a wingback, yes please. He’s a liability back there but at least he scores goals.

now sky in the studio blaming de gea, has the world gone mad ? he saved it and pushed it wide to an almost impossible position for Alonso to score from.

Chelsea has played well, but united are no mugs. They also have the ref's favour, Matic should have had a yellow for elbowing Azpilicueta, and that donkey Lukaku gets away with pushing around our players way too much.

You really want to say he was that awful apart from the goal?

It is not like Azpi has a world class performance. I know it is easy to say Alonso is sh*t even before he enters the field.
