They like to think of themselves as the ultimate cockneys, yet the Upton Park wasn’t even incorporated into Greater London until 1965- it was the County of Essex albeit with a London Postcode and Phone Prefix.

Plus it’s not the proper East End- The East End starts at Aldgate Pump and finishes at the river Lee- They’re East London, not the East End, and practically none of their support live in the area anymore- white flight- they’re all in Essex ( or Marbella depending on the season)

Basically they’re not even a proper London club. If you know any pikeys let them put that it their pipe and smoke it.

well Frank is due back at Derby tomorrow for backroom staff preparations ahead of pre-season training on Monday.   I kinda thought we'd have announced him by now.

Would it even be worth him planning anything, really?  I suspect both he and Jody know whats happening

That would be a little awkward for Frank, and for Derby.  There is incentive to get it done ASAP.  Derby need to know who to contact if Frank leaves, and we'll need a plan B if he decides to stay.

it would be a little weird.  But he is 100% due back tomorrow with his staff.   Why plan a pre season program knowing you're off

Frank is not the sort to half ass something. If we do not sort this soon and he resumes his work at Derby, I can see him deciding to stay there this season.
