Mason Mount

80M pounds is almost 100M euros

no way

he is been so inconsistent at atletico that no way he deserve that we paid this kind of money. if we will do that, Atletico wil laugh of us

60M€/65M€ its ok

I wouldn't be surprised by Mount being fed up of not being appreciated enough by fans. The same thing is happening to Trent AA at liverpool. Best thing since sliced bread when they are in good form and winning, but when things don't go well there are people being overly critical of him. Then we have the same nonsense of managers being accused of English bias, despite being an English club ffs 🤦‍♂️

Drogba, Hazard, Cesc and Costa got booed in the stadium by fans at various points.

Buy Felix for 100 million, sell Mount for 70... Crackers... 30 million loss on bringing in a champaign player who imo doesn't graft.. And for the hype hasnt really done anything of note in LaLiga, a two horse race league. Compare Mount and Felix. I'll take Mount every day of the week. Felix hardly plays and hasn't hit double figures output wise.

Agreed. Felix has given me the impression of being a big time Charlie that does not produce often enough to justify his lack of work ethic and selfishness.

Another LW? We have too many of those

I can't imagine he's for sale short of Mbappe money (maybe more) for atleast another two years (longer if he extends).

I do chuckle at rival fans when they talk like Napoli players will be reasonably easy to attain, they are in for a big shock if their respective board go there.

I think it’s as simple as Mount not wanting the contract that was offered.

I think he could play on the right, he's pretty much two footed. Honestly surprised we went for Mudryk over him, he's an incredible talent

To be fair the last 3 did effectively throw Mourinho under the bus, the Sunderland game after pretty much proved it, so it was kind of deserved.

I disagree.

Hazard for a start was playing through an injury in that period, as Hiddink later confirmed.

Even half arsed players of that quality shouldn't be fighting relegation, it ran a lot deeper than that.

hardly someone that wants to leave.
just treat him right and pay him what he’s worth

But what if mount thinks he's worth more than the club do?

I don’t really know anything but if I had to guess it would the contract length rather than salary. I’m surprised though, I never thought we would have a problem getting him to sign an extension

I think it's probably also the way the deal is structured. Perhaps structuring it so that the total figure is dependent on appearances.

And if I'm Mount, I'm going to be very nervous about signing a contract for 6 years that requires him to play regularly to get the same amount of money he'd get at any other club as I don't see how he fits into our first XI on the regular with the team we are building.

It will be interesting to see if other clubs start copying Boehly's approach, as it has been clear for some time that clubs pay far too much money in wages as a percentage of turnover.

You can be disillusioned with the club whilst at the same time being supportive of your team mates.

Appears Winstanley has been unsuccessful in negotiations. Felix Johnston just reported there is still a a difference in contract length and wages/bonuses. Chelsea want a longer contract and a fixed wage, Mount wants shorter contract with higher fixed wages and additional performance bonuses.

Saw this earlier today also heard he's linked with Bayern now that Tuchel is going there. It hurts to see him leave but it's something that now seems inevitable.

Bayern don't cater to the whim of what the manager wants though. It's just paper talk I reckon.

It's annoying. The argument it's OK to sell Mount because we have Gallagher is something I disagree with more and more with every passing match week. The thought of Gallagher gracing the Bernabéu running like a headless chicken against Modric & Tchouameni makes my stomach turn. I pray Mount is fit in time.

For me, either Mount stays and Gallagher gets sold, or both get sold. There's only one player in the two that's good enough to play here.

If it's just about money, is he going to get more at Bayern ?
