Can't argue after seeing that red. But it's a shame he hasn't got it out of his game, I thought he looked a hell of a prospect when we signed him. I still hope he gets a shot next season though, we do lack aggression at times.

Although he did ok for us that season in hindsight it's a bit strange how Conte had him around the squad over James who was a rare breed who was ready for regular men's football even at that age.

Haven't watched him very much this season so I can't really express my opinion. What concerns me is his disciplinary record. 14 yellow cards in 30 games is too much.

That’s a shame. I always liked Ampadu and he always seem to take his chance. Clearly not. 

So we lose Rudi, AC, sell Sarr, and maybe Azpi and Colwill and Ampadu. We bring in KK, fail to sign Kounde, de Ligt and Ake, and Leicester don't want to sell Fofana.

Not completely sure about him as a CB Backbiter, but he has looked decent to me when he has played as the defensive midfielder. Reads the game well.

Surpised by this, he looks decent for 21, would prefer a loan move for him if we aren't going to use him as cover

He has not been assigned a squad number.

I have liked Ampadu when he has played for us, but as with Gilmour, TT is not really giving him much of a look in. 

Reads the game well, can pass well and can tackle. Obviously TT sees something I don't. 

Looks like his time here is done.

 

 

Unfortunately everyone can't play.. So some players haven't places in Chelsea. Ampadu is one of them, looked brillant in pre saison but Tuchel knows better than us. 

Set for Sarr style loan, taken from WAGNH:

"An agreement is seemingly close for a season-long loan, with Spezia paying €1.5m as a loan fee. They will also reportedly have the the option to sign Ampadu permanently at the end of the season for €12m. There is optimism that the deal will be closed by the end of the week."

Looks Like Just A Season Long Loan Without Any Buy Clause.

Seems Strange Though Given TT Saying We've Got Quite A Lot Of Midfield Injuries And Can Also Cover At CB, Is Much More Attributed To The DM Role Than Jorginho
