Bats is terrible for not passing the ball, he’s far too greedy for me. His decision making on when to pass and when to shoot needs to improve significantly if he wants to displace Tammy.

Glad Batshuayi is pretty much second choice over Giroud. Definitely think he's better suited to the way we play.

CHO hasn't been great since he came on. He might not be fully match fit, but given the circus him and his agent created related to a move to Bayern and the contract signature, you would expect him to be more of an impact when he comes on. I actually woulda went for Christensen, had some key blocks in the second half when we had our back to the wall but both the CB’s were solid. I thought we defended much better as a team as a whole today, although I do appreciate it was Brighton who struggle for goals.

He’s just back from injury and created Willian’s goal with his pace and willingness to drive forward which got him an assist. What are you expecting him to do? Bag a hat trick?

Excellent result, and finally a clean sheet. 

All in all it was a very good performance, and the defence did a lot better than I expected. Tomori and Christsensen both had solid games. Azpi and Alonso a bit too many mistakes for me. 

CHO's energy really brought something to the game also, so glad he's back. Willian played a lot better in the 2nd half and got the important goal we desperately needed, hats off to him, we need our senior players to be more reliable. The only player I was really concerned with is Barkley, I don't know where he fits into this Chelsea team at all and I can't see him getting any game time when Kante and RLC are fit. 

I thought Frank would have played a stronger side from the outset to send a message, guess he has Lille on his mind.

Eh? I thought he was absolutely solid, he made that 2nd goal. 

You're probably more invested into the contract situation than anything, I don't see how one can be critical of his performance here.

For Lords sake the kid is just overcoming a severe injury, when he's fully match fit i'll accept that sort of nailing............. expectant fans eh!
