Chelsea v Man Utd (PL) Mon 17th Feb 20:00 GMT

It's days like today that make me wonder why I put up with this sport anymore.

United get away with the most ridiculous sh*t, something that has been going on since before I became a football fan, and they go into half time a goal up. I refuse to believe that the officials in charge of VAR seriously think that isn't a red card, any other team on any other day gets a red card. The yellow card for Willian was a f**king joke too.

Since the introduction of VAR, football has become more infuriating that ever. They can't use the excuse that they didn't see it anymore, they have the benefit of the looking at replay after replay, from multiple angles. At this point, I can only think the refs are biased, what else could it actually be at this point? because nobody can be this f**king stupid.

Lamps shot himself in the foot with Bats upfront. He is clearly not learning, some of his selection decisions are baffling. One of the most important games in his managerial careers amd he puts this team out?? Sorry but he deserves what he is getting at the moment

I still believe we can turm it around secomd half

He clearly doesn't have much faith in Giroud for whatever reason, and hasn't all season. Despite what he says publicly I have to think he was hoping to get a replacement for Giroud in this past window.

This United team is awful, truly awful. Their worst team and manager for the best part of 30 years, and hardly a player I’ve heard of or can recognise.

They can barely scramble a pass to each other and yet we have no goal threat up front. It's embarrasing.

You're not even watching the game?

Nope mate, had other things going on with the family. Wanted to check in and see how we were doing. Seems like is rinse and repeat of most of our recent home games.

Few of you will remember a striker called Barry Bridges who we had back in the day ...he was truly dreadful, but still better than Bats! A striker who has zero confidence when given a scoring chance! Really ....

Even before VAR we wouldn't have got that decision against United. Over the years they have had so many decisions go their way against us at the bridge.

I go back to 1968 and this is the most pathetic strike force overall iv'e seen, and that includes the likes of Chris Sutton

VAR aside we bring it on ourselves. We can't do the basics in football to win games. We play a guy up top who's mentality and confidence is rock bottom.

Our GK constantly punts it up the park to midgets who couldn't hold their own water let alone the ball.

This is the poorest United team in my living memory and we all knew after the first sitter we missed how the game would play out. Our management don't seem to grasp the basics so what we are seeing on the park seems to resemble just that.

Don't even get me started on the board who look to have took a sabbatical from all things football since the ban.

This is why I prefer watching cricket these days. They very rarely get it wrong and if they do the 4th umpire sorts it out.

I'll be so glad when this season is over. It looked bright for a while but as time has gone on we've been exposed as fairly sh*te.

Agreed.

That purple patch we had at the beginning of the season was wonderful and it might have raised our expectations unreasonably, but our form since then has been disastrous and there's no going around it.

It really is a miracle how we're still in contention for 4th, we're lucky teams around us are sh*t as well.
