Chelsea weren’t torn apart like this by Liverpool with 10 men last week let alone 11. The hype around arteta maybe getting a reality check tonight

This is why I hope they get thrashed. There seems to be a false reading with arsenal.

To be fair Arse have looked way more solid in most of Arteta's games compared to how they were under Emery, today is more exception to the rule against a top team.

They aren't really, they're worse at the back than us they just have capable keepers.

I feel like a lot of people don’t give us a lot of credit for that match. We defended really well in the first half before the red and good chances off the counter. If the red didn’t happen we easily could have won that game by a lone goal.

Liverpool makes it look so simple, they even gifted a goal to Arsenal and then just casually scored twice soon afterwards... With all the injures that Man City is having and the fact that none of the key players of Liverpool ever get injured this may be an easy title for Liverpool to defend.

Willian stopped a certain third by sprinting back to stop Robertson on the overlap in the last 10.

Some sprinting and good to see Robertson annoyed.

Willian also got himself offside too.

Luiz's long range passing still looks good.

I hated that BS under Sarri where we have the CBs on the line and we try to pass it out, Arsenal haven't successfully kept possession from the goal kick once.

How is that not a Freekick on Aubameyang yet the same thing is a foul on Mane

And a booking as well.

Liverpool are a very good team but they get subtle little decisions from referees that can make big differences.

Liverpool look lightyears ahead of everyone else still, another title in the bag for them I think.

They are. Worth bearing in mind how long it took Klopp to get his team together and playing consistently like this. He was given a lot of time. Something we all need to give Lampard.

It's very very early in the season, but I just can't see anybody getting close to Liverpool. We still have the same problems defensively that we had last season, United are basically the same team as last season, Tottenham and Arsenal will probably be better than last season, but they are well off Liverpool's level and City will destroy teams one week, and then slip up every so often like they did yesterday. This season will play out very similar to last season, Liverpool will win the league by a distance.

Liverpool had the benefit of the ref today and I only saw about 25 mins of the match.

Willian was taken out by Fabinho, who went in with the wrong foot and cleared the ball planting his foot on Willian's right ankle, he went off after that. I thought it should have been a yellow yet not even a free kick.

As I stated earlier Willian stopped a certain goal in the first.

Lacazette had two chances to equalise, one with just the keeper to beat and he had time.....

Aubameyang had an interesting moment where it looked like a body check stopped him breaking, ref gave nothing.

Arsenal had good sequences of play 62mins-78mins (I logged off at 78), I was impressed by Aubameyang closing down, there was a moment where he sprinted at the FB who gave a sloppy sidewards pass and if Lacazette had followed Aubameyang and closed down his man would probably have overturned the ball.

Slim margins for me and Liverpool go marching on though they looked beatable yet we would need to improve on WBA 😁

City and Pool must take steroids or something. Every team in the league can spend millions on sports science but somehow only they consistently have 90% energy left at 90 mins.
