What a legend 

I don't know why I keep giving MOTD another chance. Not a single second of time dedicated to Thiago Silva at the end of our highlights, not even a mention of it by Lineker, Shearer or Wright. One of the best CB's of the generation calling time at the top of European football, and nothing. Klopp gets treated like a god after winning a 1 Premier League title. MOTD is low quality trash compared to the competition, which is basically BBC as whole these days.

A wonderful defender and it's been a privilege and honour to see him play for Chelsea. One of those defenders who is brilliant at reading the game. I place him alongside the likes of Desailly, Terry, Maldini and Baresi in their ability to read the game. Just imagine if we had signed him ten years earlier.

A very emotional day for him, his family and the fans. A few moist eyes in the house. I saw him wipe his eyes after kick-off. Having his name chanted like it was a sign of how much he means to the fans. May we see him back at the club in the future and his sons have a career in the club.

 

It has been an absolute privilege indeed, legend and so happy that the fans dedicated this last match for him, pure class.

 

 

 

One of the best center backs I've seen at the club. Right the there with JT, Cahill, and Miazga for me. Class.

Now playing at FC Cincinnati. Apparently he was the MLS Defender of the Year in 2023 ... we should bring him back LOL
