Absolute class in every sense of the word, superb footballer and top bloke & leader. Going to be very difficult to replace.

Wonder if Belle will spill some beans now. 

I don't believe it was his choice to move on. Him speaking about his sons playing for our youth set up and staying here says to me that he intends to stay close by, ideally would have been here, and certainly won't be heading back to Brazil.

He also talks about a desire to come back in another role soon, so sounds like his family is settled well here and they want to stay.

Where that leaves his next move? Fulham perhaps?

Anyways my favorite player of these last 4 years. Not only class on the pitch, but off it as well. One who came to love us by being here over a short time, who's family also love us too.

Well we all know she has no filter nor decorum so fair to say that's a safe bet. 

Silva is right up there in the list of my favourite ever CFC players. To be playing at that level when he will be 40 in September is truly astounding. To think he joined us when Lamps was manager, was then re-united with Tuchel, won the CL & Club World Cup, only to see Tuchel sacked and then played under Potter, Lamps again and now Pochettino. During that we had the whole Abramovic saga and new owners and he would have been forgiven in thinking he had joined a complete car-crash of a football club and should have jumped ship. But no, he clearly Loves Chelsea and is always last off the pitch after applauding the supporters.

The guy has been a model pro and a brilliant defender. I have never seen another defender read the game as well as Silva does. It has been an absolute pleasure to watch him ply his trade in Chelsea Blue and I'm gonna miss him big time.

I do find it hard to like a lot of this squad at times and he is the one major exception.

He's still our best centreback even at his age.

Shame that we didn't give him a chance to compete for the league after our Champions league win.

Phenomenal player, should've won POTS over Mount both times in my opinion.

 

Can't even imagine how good he would've been if we'd signed him at 27/28.

A wonderful player and a superb leader on and off the pitch. Didn't have the captain's armband was effectively captain. One of those defenders like Terry, Desailly, Maldini and Baresi who read and reads the game so well. Will be great to have back at the club in the future and play a key role. He is a keen supporter or the women's team and has visited Kingsmeadow on a number of occasions.

Wish there was a better backing track to the second video, but the action is top notch.

From one of many trips to Kingsmeadow. Given the men's game against West Ham will finish at about 4pm and he could be out of Stamford Bridge by 5pm I wonder if Thiago will make the journey to Kingsmeadow as it will be Emma's last home game. I'm sure he will.

looked class from day 1.. and acted with grace and calm and I am sure a lot of these young guys would have learned from him.

He really should be given a role behind the scenes he’s one of the few left who is connected to our recent successes and we need his experience off the field.

The idiots managing us don't have that kind of foresight or thought process. 

Classy in everything he does, on and off the pitch. Kept his thoughts to himself as Poch treat him like sh*te. Such a brilliant signing, wish we had gotten him much earlier in his career.

Class player on and off the pitch. It’s been great to watch him playing in Chelsea blue and he’ll be remembered by all the fans.

It’s tough watching the video as he clearly has a lot of love for Chelsea, something a few others could do with.

My preference would have been to have him far more involved in helping the other CB’s move to a team without him. Maybe he wasn’t offered that or maybe he just wants to play.

All I know is he is still the best CB at the club, and is going to be a huge hole to fill.

Honestly wish him and his family all the happiness as he has given us plenty of great times.

 

He’s up there as one of my favourite Chelsea players ever. I don’t know how or why I feel so connected to him in such a short space of time. He’s seems like a class gentleman and we will miss him so much.
