One less the reputable media source is claiming our first game under our new manager will see us go to a back 3:

Zouma

Silva

Rudiger

James

Kovacic (to be replaced by Kante later)

Jorginho

Chilwell

Havertz

Werner

Pulisic

No mention of who he wants as his main keeper though.

I love the back 3, not sure about werner over tammy but back 3 fit our team.

Oops there are so many selections that I don't agree with but in general I like 343 for us

So after that intense training session the side is ready to completely redeem itself. Tuchel did his magic and we will face Wolves with this side.

Mendy

Azpilicueta - Silva - Rudiger - Chilwell

Kante - Jorginho

Ziyech - Mount - Pulisic

Werner

Tuchel fields experienced side in 4-2-3-1 and tries to just win it. 2-1 Chelsea. Scorers Silva and Werner.

I wasn’t looking forward to this game under Frank but I think we’ll see a much more energised performance. They’re all playing for their places so there’s no excuses.

I’m just trying to concentrate on our game today.

Still shocked about Frank being sacked, to be honest.

Agreed and well said Hemel Blue: ‘Farewell Frank, thanks for the memories...UP THE CHELS !’

My prediction for tomorrow's lineup:

I think Tuchel will stick to the 4-2-2-2 he used at PSG as our personnel fits it I think. Pulisic and Kante are out. Havertz could play with Werner at top with CHO sliding in with Ziyech too. We'll see.

Bold choice putting "Click to edit" in goal after his recent performances.?

I can’t imagine much will change in 48 hours, but I will bet Werner is not on the bench. Whoever plays in the front line I expect they will have to press a lot more seriously, Werner presses naturally but Pulisic, cho and ziyech do not. If ziyech starts I bet he plays in a more narrow corridor.

Definitely not I expect both Kai and him to start.

Roman has to have tasked him with getting the big money signings firing.

I think Tuchel might go with 3 at the back and I wonder if Kante can play... Pulisic has been in a bad form but I don't know how we would lineup without him, maybe a 3-4-1-2:

                    Mendy

        Zouma T.Silva Rudiger

James   Kante Mount   Chilwell

                Havertz

          Abraham Werner

I think as soon as we get figured out by opposition managers that were trying to go with 3 at the back, just to shoehorn in one of the worst defenders in our modern history, opposition wingers will be attacking Rudiger and Zouma from the wings.

Not to mention we leave 3 of our best players (wingers) out of the equation, to shoehorn in the Germans.

It's hard to figure it out because we can't have it all, at the same time to play with 2 strikers so that Werner gets an easier game + Rudiger + wingers... I have no idea what will Tuchel do.

I'll give our new man in charge a chance, but I think he'll face the same problem Frank had; we have a bloated squad and some very talented players but he won't be able to keep them all happy. It's only going to get worse when he gets all the players back from the loan deals which will only add to his problems in the summer.   Marina created this mess, she needs to clean it up.

Don't see much in the way of changing the team formation or selection from the last couple of weeks for this game.   Will likely see a bit of a bounce and 3 points.

Click to edit, a new upcoming GK from the academy.

What I would love to see.

Mendy

James Silva Zouma Chilwell

Gilmour Mount

Ziyech Werner CHO

Abraham

But I suspect Tuchel will go with experienced players over academy. James the obvious exception.

Maybe Tuchel doesn't value that hat-trick of Tammy against a lower team and he starts Werner with Kai right behind him as a support centrally...

                   Mendy

James T.Silva Rudiger Chilwell

              Kante  Mount

        Ziyech Havertz Pulisic

                    Werner

Tammy Abraham has scored six goals in three league starts against Wolves.

I would start him, my first lineup is a 4-2-3-1 with Tammy up front but I'm trying to think from Tuchel's perspective that might just have a huge trust in Werner from the get-go.

If you ask me I would prefer to start Havertz and Werner would be on the bench since we lacked some creativity so I would play him behind Tammy, they had a nice partnership in at least some games at the start of the season...

If our new manager is astute enough to pick players on form and performance, neither Werner or Bakayoko Havertz will be anywhere near the squad.

They both need some time to recover confidence (in Werner's case) and to learn how to trap and pass a football (in Havertz's).

I have no idea what to expect in terms of line up. I can only assume we'll see 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 because Tuchel's probably not going to deviate to far from what the players have already been doing this season after just one day at the club.

Will be interesting to see whether he opts of experienced players or if the accademy lads continue to get picked. Does Mount keep his place? (he should). Does CHO get a chance? Who's going to be the centre back pairing?

Completely random guess at the starting XI

                    Mendy

James - Rudiger - Silva - Chilwell

                   Jorginho

             Havertz - Mount

      Ziyech - Werner- Pulisic

As hard as it would be to ignore that Tammy scored a hat trick in his last appearance I reckon Tuchel sets down a marker that he sees Werner as his centre forward. If it was based on form CHO should be getting a start on the left ahead of Pulisic who's been pretty underwhelming pretty much all season but I think Tuchel will go with a player who he's already familiar with.

I don't really expect something to change, not after one training one day before the match. I'm sure players will have more hunger to prove themselves and motivation to impress the new manager.

I'd take any win today, COME ON CHELS!!!
