Is also why when any of you talk about revenge on pool I chuckle. No way we are allowed to win the final no matter how well we play, or dont.

That's pretty depressing, not being allowed to win. What's the point of it all then?

Liverpool need someone to beat, I mean they have to at least have a sacrificial lamb. Is the part we won today.

Is why I wanted City to win their semi. Are they arguably the best side about at the mo? Sure however if we turned up and really played our best we can beat them as I don't believe the ref and VAR would set out to help them.

If we did not perform at our best sure we lose, same as against pool however at our best we can beat City as we showed 3 big times last year.

Against pool with the ref and VAR in their pocket? No chance.

Better team at Anfield, VAR shows Taylor a still and he is all too happy to send off James and give a pen when at worst is yellow and a pen as it was not deliberate

Better team at the Bridge, Mane elbows Dave deliberately, only yellow, no VAR upgrade, Mane stars in their draw.

Better team in league cup final, lino flags Rom offside, he is clearly onside and VAR makes lines that do a poor job of backing their biased call.

11 vs 11 we can beat City. 15 vs 11 we cannot beat LiVARpool.  Simple.

In your world though isn't it then also impossible for city to win that semi final? Why would the refs help Liverpool against us and not city?

They did not, and Liverpool went through.

Does not mean I cannot want a different outcome beforehand, nor hope for one.

Against the Juventus game, I feared that our season had peaked. I said it in the match thread. So it proved to be. After that game, we went on an awful run and lost all momentum.

We should have been competing for the title this season but too many things have happened - I’ve listed them below:

- Chilwell injuriy

- James injury (2/3 months)

- Lukaku ineffective

- Inconsistent forwards

- Sale of the club (damage was done by then)

We started off with a bang, had a major dip and then seemed to have picked it back up. Credit to Tuchel for keeping the players going and keeping our top four place which will be crucial for the new owner.

Covid also

covid and chilwell injury was the worst

Pissed off at TT. The starting XI was abysmal. The defence was ridiculous. Starting Lukaku who doesn’t want to be here is criminal.

Putting Havertz on when we are chasing the game and Arsenal parking the bus. Too late.

This is why we won’t catch the top 2. 3rd place is still up for grabs.

Terrible selections today.

And still terrible attacking play after 2 seasons. None of our players seem to know what to do when they get the ball. It's just recycle left, right, backwards, or hit a hopeful ball back to the opposition.

This isn’t the first time he’s done this, how does he still not understand that we can’t afford to just play a near second string team in the premier league. Malang Sarr should be playing for Port Vale and he starts him against one of our closest rivals? Oh and this obsession with playing Reece as a RCB needs to f**king stop

It's because he won't stay fit if he plays at RWB for any extended period of time. Tuchel said so himself in the presser before the game.

Absolutely screwed us over for this one, the selection in defence was embarrassing.

This isn't the first time he's picked noticeably suspect lineup's and it need to stop.

Reece James is a right back or right wing back stop wasting his talents when someone else could play RCB.

The defence was proper crap. To bench Silva and Rudiger made zero sense.

Lukaku has shown he has no interest in being here either, i know he did well against Arsenal early on in the season so can understand the decision to start him but should have been hooked about 60 mins in.

People get tired. They have been playing non-stop in high-profile matches. At some point, he has to trust his bench. Sadly, we don't have as much quality there.

Little bit disappointed with him today.

I'm always look at him when he is fully motivated and has non stop energy on the line, always demanding and motivating the players. He was little bit off today, but I also understand that, maybe there is no need to be like this every game.

Anyway, I believe his rotation led us to trouble, and then to losing important points. On other side, Tuchel has put some faith in Lukaku, Sarr, Christensen and they all failed to prove.

No matter what, I always will stand behind Tuchel and be sure that he's the right man to lead us.

No Lukaku should have been hooked off at HT. Period.

He did feck all in the first half and only put in a little more effort in the second.

I have never been so angry since our FA Cup defeat against Leicester last season.

Understand that Rudiger and Kovacic are injured and a bit of rotation is necessary but Lukaku starting? Sarr over Trev? This was lost the moment the team sheet was announced.

I’m a huge Tuchel fan but he should apologise to the fans.

It was a London derby for f*cks sake!

Now we have to put up with Arteta being praised to high heaven and him having that stupid smug look on his face.

At the start of the season our aim was to bridge the gap between where we finished last season, and the top. Still 7 games to go but on current form it looks like we won't improve much on last season's points total. Been a very disappointing league season overall.

Praying this gets Arteta a contract extension.

Tuchel is experiencing the same problems Mourinho, Conte, Lampard and Sarri experienced. Blessed with a ton of talent, but no matter how much talent we bring in, the same motivation issues keep popping up. The only players in the squad that haven't been infected by this this season is Silva and Rudiger, the reason why it doesn't happen to Silva is because he's a winner with a winners mentality. It doesn't matter who he plays, his standards stay as high as ever. This is why he will be my player of the year by far. Every other player in the team has so much to learn from Silva. The guy is 37 years old and has more fight and determination to win than any player we have had at the club since Terry.

The problem even filters through our academy. Mount is probably the only player that consistently puts in the effort. Loftus-Cheek plays too many games like it's a kick about in the park. James has games where he doesn't even sprint, Christensen is weak physically and mentally. Where's the drive? where's the determination and willingness to be the best? I hear James dad say things like he really wants to be Chelsea captain and win the title for us, but he has so much to learn before I would even consider making him captain.

Charity FC is a club problem, it's not a coach problem. You can't coach players to have a winning mentality, they have to find that themselves. Tuchel can shout and scream at the players all he likes, but if they won't listen, then he can't do anything. What will it take for everybody at the club, including the fans, to realise that we have motivation issues at this club? We have had arguably the best coaches in the game manage our club in the past 20 years, but every single one of them is binned off only for the next person to come in, have a good few months, only for those same Chelsea issues pop up again.

We also have him in the job a bit longer, tactical loss!

The More You Know Kitty GIF

We gave Eddie Murphy/Nketiah his first two PL goals of the season. Us. Chelsea.

Southampton didn’t. Palace didn’t. Brighton didn’t. We did.

All because we had amateurs in our defence.

It was pretty much sh*t from top to bottom tonight. Hindsight is easy and all, but Silva Chalobah and Christensen I would've played in the back 3... (of course knowing what I know now... 'CHIEF YOU IDIOT!!! AC SUXXXXXXX'), but I don't know if it would've mattered.. the way the ball bounced, the mental mistakes, the lack of intensity... it was just bad all around.

TT has to look at AC and seriously ask himself if he should continue to play him. It seems clear that he is not focused on the club and his football right now. Sarr was not good enough in any capacity and he has been showing his bad form for a bit now.

TT well pissed off and so he should be. Angry with himself no doubt for putting trust in certain players and then seeing that trust misplaced.

Can't help going through a divorce.

Need to put that behind us and bounce straight back and hopefully TT has learned once and for all, NOT to f**k about with team selection.
